Lovely Staff
We booked a premium sea view twin room with balcony with Tui and that is what we got, room 511, excellent sea view, space around the bed was a bit tight but then we did have two double beds. Having been following the reviews since booking I was actually dreading what I was going to find, but need not to have worried. Yes the tiling in the bathroom is a bit tired, but plenty of hot water, shampoo and body wash, clean towells daily. The room was spotless. Aircon was a bit chilly, but used the extra blanket provided and it was fine. As a more mature couple, wanting to get away from smaller children we used the adult only pool, it was clean, the bar staff in this area were superb, as it was the last week of the season, some of the sunloungers were getting a bit tired as were the brollies, but we didn't have to go without, there were enough to go around. Food - we used the snack bar at the main pool a couple of times, it was good, typical snack food, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips etc. However we preferred to eat in the main restaurant, for a 3 star hotel the choice and standard of food was very good. What let it down were the animals (people) eating in there, at times I was ashamed to be British, just because you are on all inclusive doesn't mean you have to put everything that is available on your plate at once and then waste 3/4 of it. Every day there were dishes that were already prepared and you just served yourself, but also every day there was something being cooked by the chef on the griddle, whether it was fresh tuna, burgers, steak, pork chops. There was pasta every day with a choice of two different sauces. Mexican and chinese nights were both excellent food. There is a lovely salad bar with varying choices. A limited number of deserts were available each day, but plenty of fresh fruit. Breakfasts were good, fruit, cereals, choice of milk types, yoghurts, pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, jams etc. plus the full array of cooked food, sausages (proper British style), frankfurters, bacon, beans, chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, boiled eggs, scrambled and fried eggs every day then on alternate days the chef was cooking either pancakes or omelettes. The staff in the restaurant work like troupers keeping it clean, wiping down and replacing tablewear after each family, extremely friendly and kind. The 1 euro deposit on plastic cups was not an issue, it meant that there wasn't dirty glasses ordisposables laying around everywhere. The hotel is in a lovely location, close to the beach and within walking distance of San Antonio itself. Wouldn't hesitate to come here again.
Our family stay
We stayed for 5nights in a premium sea view room. Great room, lovely and clean, beds comfortable.Lovely maids amd so lovely to the children. We have stayed here 3 times now and regardless of other reviews we will return,it's each tp there own,to us it's great base,we find the food totally fine always something to eat,Snack bar was great. All the staff are lovely. See you next year.❤
Good value
Stayed here for half term as a family of 4, we got a really good deal, hotel location really good, rooms are basic but fine for a week. Pool area good, snack bar food was ok better than in the dining room. Food was terrible in the dining area and it was too small for the size of the hotel so constantly queuing. We ate out a few times. For what we paid we can't complain we had a great holiday in Ibiza. A visit to Urban lounge just down the road is a must.
