Beach

The soft sands of Wells Beach are approx. a 20-minute walk or a quick 3-minute drive from your suite. This is a public beach known for its wide shoreline and excellent surfing spots. As the hotel does not have a private beach area, sun loungers and umbrellas are not provided, allowing you the freedom to find your own perfect spot along the Atlantic coast.

“A very nice place to stay”

This hotel is fabulous, we have had a very nice week staying here. The staff are all very friendly and can't do enough to help; directions, food recommendations, public transport advice...all very useful information. The room was spotless with new towels left every day. The breakfasts are amazing, leaving now need for lunch! Evening meals are also available at a very reasonable cost and good quality, local wines are available at the bar, we would definitely recommend the red wine (200 lek a glass!).

“Had a lovely time”

Overall hotel was good, however you had to ask for your room to be cleaned and not enough toilet rolls provided had to keep asking for them. Breakfast was typical Albania not my cup of tea but wouldn't starve. Night staff Patrick was very accommodating even though didn't speak English. Resus at breakfast was really lovely and accommodating nothing too much trouble for her. Hotel great location the beach was very dirty and full of litter which was a cross the road 4 mins walk. Think I would return.

“We would return, a small, sunny, pleasant hotel.”

Room for improvement and attention to detail in some areas but lovely staff and we were made to feel welcome. Risa and Patrick in particular were very pleasant and attentive. The rooms are large, modern and clean. Plenty of storage space but unfortunately only one clothes hanger. Please note, there is no safe, kettle or iron in the room. The bed and linen was clean and we found it to be very comfortable with just a flat sheet as it was warm, there is AC if you prefer it cooler. Clean modern bathroom with a walk in rain fall shower. The breakfast is a traditional Albanian breakfast served buffet style. The drinks are reasonably priced, we added ours to our room tab and settled at the end of our stay. Free parking at the side of the hotel. Free, strong wi-fi. Free hand soap and shampoo. Mini fridge in room for storing your water etc. Good location for the beach, local bars and supermarkets. The room for improvements would be installing room safes, supplying more clothes hangers and more hooks for drying towels, adding a waste basket to the bedroom, the stainless steel bin and shower caddy could do with being replaced as they were looking tired. A kettle and brew kit in the room and an iron/board would be appreciated too. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.

“Boutique Hotel that cares”

I went on a trip with my granddaughter as it was our first time to travel on a foreign holiday together. From the time of booking to leaving Albania, we found the staff fantastic, helpful and understanding from the start. They could not do enough for us, and even created a WhatsApp group to include my daughter in UK to keep her updated on any queries we had prior the visit. We felt secure, looked after and more importantly - cared about. The hotel is a short walk from the main beach and centrally located, albeit, off the main beach front. Which is not a big deal if you want a quiet chilled evening. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Some may say, hotel is basic, but this will depend on expectations. You get what you pay for and we felt that the staff went above and beyond for us. There was no issues whatsoever. The cleaning staff were constantly working and the woman even stopped to welcome us and to enjoy our stay. The hotel organized a local cab company to pick us up on arrival to Tirana. The front of house woman was uber professional and again, her level of care to us was second to none. The other member of staff dropped us to the local bus stop on our first day - no issues as he knew we were a bit reluctant to navigate this on our first day there. we met John the owner and his wife who welcomed us like long lost family and made us feel so welcomed. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back.

“Village By The Sea Golem”

A small, cozy hotel located in the peaceful and quiet Golem district, just 200 meters from the beach. The hotel features an excellent restaurant offering Italian cuisine. It is managed by wonderful, helpful, and kind people. The rooms are spacious, cleaned daily, and the entire place is spotless. This is an ideal spot for a relaxing vacation in tranquility, surrounded by fantastic people. I highly recommend it to everyone.
