“WARNING: An absolute scam – Not a 5-star hotel, barely a 2-star. DO NOT BOOK!”
Our stay at VM Resort & Spa in Golem was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This hotel advertises itself as a luxury 5-star resort, but in reality, it is a complete disaster with zero customer orientation and substandard conditions. Severe Noise & Lack of Basic Privacy: In our first room, the windows and door were completely unsealed, leaving massive gaps. Street noise, loud promenade music, and midnight fireworks entered unfiltered—sleep was impossible. Worse, the doors cannot be locked properly from the inside, and there are no "Do Not Disturb" signs. Housekeeping walked straight into our room without knocking while we were completely naked. Hygiene & Maintenance Issues: The first room smelled intensely musty, the toilet was stained with pink chemical residue, and the showerhead/fittings were heavily degraded and calcified. On top of that, power outages occurred constantly. Unacceptable Room Downgrade: After we complained, instead of an upgrade or an equivalent room, we were moved to an obvious downgrade: two separate twin beds, no TV at all, and stripped of basic amenities. Zero Service & Absurd Excuses: When we demanded compensation for these miserable conditions, management refused entirely. Their idea of "compensation" was offering a cheap lunchbox for our early departure—something they had already promised days prior as a substitute for missed breakfast. Booking.com Couldn't Even Reach Them: When Booking.com customer support tried to intervene on our behalf, the hotel management was completely uncooperative and failed to communicate. Fake Copy-Paste Responses: Do not be fooled by management's standard replies to critical reviews claiming that "this does not reflect our standards." They copy and paste this exact excuse under every bad review, yet do absolutely nothing on-site to prove otherwise, solve real issues, or help disappointed guests. This property is operating on false advertising. Save your hard-earned money and your vacation: stay far away from this place!

“Great massage from Margie”
I didn’t stay at this hotel, but I highly recommend this place for a massage on the beach. I had intense pain in my neck and back and had had a headache for days, and Margie worked magic. She really knows what she’s doing, and I’m feeling so much better now. Thank you, Margie!

“Outstanding Hospitality and a Wonderful Honeymoon Surprise”
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire team at Fllad Resort & SPA for making our nephew’s honeymoon so special. Before their arrival, we contacted the hotel and asked if they could do something special for the newlyweds, Bartłomiej and Wiktoria. The team went above and beyond our expectations. They prepared a beautifully decorated room with rose petals and romantic touches that created a truly magical welcome. The surprise was absolutely stunning and made the couple feel very special from the moment they arrived. The attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism shown by the staff were exceptional. It is rare to find a hotel that genuinely cares about creating memorable experiences for its guests, and Fllad Resort & SPA certainly does. Thanks to your efforts, the beginning of their honeymoon became an unforgettable memory that they will cherish forever. “Great holiday, balcony caution”
All in all we have a fabulous time. Caution if anyone is staying in room 503 especially families. The balcony is very dangerous down the side of it with a very wide gap and a drop of 5 floors. I have told reception but maintenance doesn’t seem much of a priority.
