How do I check-in for my Wizz Air flight?
Modified on: Fri, 14 Nov, 2025 at 3:28 PM
You’ll find the link to the Wizz Air website below, but you may want to read our check-in guide first.
Before you get started, make sure you have the following handy:
- Your flight reference from your invoice/confirmation. This is not your Thomas Cook booking reference and can be found on the ‘flights’ section of your Thomas Cook invoice labelled ‘airline reference’ or ‘flight booking number’ (see the examples below). The reference is a random selection of numbers and letters (or just letters) in any order. If you're having trouble using your airline reference on the airline’s website, please double-check you’re using the right letters and numbers, as the letters ‘I, O and Z’ can look like the numbers ‘1, 0 and 2’.
Or:
- Your passport details
You can check in online from 48 hours to 40 minutes before departure. Or, if you have paid to book your seats, check-in opens 30 days before departure.
Remember to check in for your return flight too!
Check in
- Go to the Wizz Air website using the link below
- Click the ‘Check-in and bookings’ tab shown here:
- Enter your 'Confirmation code' (this is your ‘Airline reference’ as shown above) and your surname
- You may also need to enter your first name
- Add your passport details
- Add any flight extras (you’ll pay for these on the airline’s website)
- Print or download your boarding pass
You can also book extras like seating at any time by clicking on the link below and creating an account.
If you’re travelling with family and friends you may need to check each person in separately.
