Amazing value for money
My first trip to Cyprus and must say was a little wary given the amazing deal I had no need absolutely loved my stay here clean rooms and friendly staff. Would recommend. If you are staying here then it may be an idea to get a room at the back as it can be noisy at the front although you do get a sea view and also factor in cost of aircon into your budget as it's very warm at night at 6 euro a night and 20 euro refundable deposit not too expensive. Pool area lovely and clean but i would say get up early if you want beds and an umbrella, Fig tree bay is wonderful but you have to pay for beds and umbrellas 2.50 euro per bed/brolly and is well looked after with no loud music or smoking allowed and i can't wait to go back. Try the Olympus on the main strip for food thoroughly enjoyed. There is a lidl about 15 minute walk from apartments or best buys on main strip is fine. Tonys opposite is good but a little more expensive

This is the third year on the trot that we have stayed at the Andreotis, and it was a pleasure to meet up again with friends also re-visiting. The place is great for the food at very reasonable prices, especially the daily specials, and Tasos and Paula who run this side of the business really know how to cater for people. They have excellent staff, Jane on the pool bar, Sophie, Eric, Tania and Maria in the bar/restaurant area. There is a quiz and bingo on Tuesday evening and live entertainment of a Friday, The Soul Man, Andy Pierce was fabulous for my age group! Book this place with confidence, just read some of the other reviews.

All of the staff (Tasos, Paula, Jane, Tanya, Maria, Sophie and Eric) we're fantastic, they treat you like they had known you for years, the friendliest group of people ever! The food was great, never had a bad meal whilst we were there. We are on about returning either the end of the season or next year and meeting up with the people we met! Thank you for a great holiday guys! Paige an Aaron :)

Fantastic stay at the Andreotis Hotel Apartments 2years running!!
We stayed as a family of four for two weeks between 17th June and 2nd July 2012, and we loved it so much, we came back the following year, just as a adult couple between 16th June and 1st July 2013.
First off, in 2012, we arrived three hours late due to a delay on the inbound flight, which was no fault of the hotel staff, and let me just say, The Restaurant Manager, Tasos, was there waiting for us in reception at 3am in the morning, welcoming us to the hotel and to Cyprus, knowing about the delay, he took our names of all members of our party, and even showed us to our apartment. He kept the bar open, offered us drinks and cooked food for us if we wanted it, which we kindly took him up on the offer, even though he had to be up in only a few hours, for the breakfast shift early in the morning.
In 2013, Tasos was yet once again there waiting for us at reception to greet us, recognising us straight away, and making us feel very welcome. Needless to say though, the bar was kept open for us and offered us food after our journey.
The pool area during both years was always clean, tidy, and very spacious, with plenty of sunbeds available around the pool. The very friendly staff (Jane (Pool Bar), Tanja, Sophie) are always welcoming and constantly smiling.
The rooms that we occupied during our stays on both years were cleaned very nearly every day, to a good standard, and we always found that we could trust the cleaning staff, as on numerous occasions we left our things in plain sight, with no need for worry, and always cleaned with a smile.
All of the staff would go out of their way to help with anything they could. Don't know what to eat from the fabulous menu? Just let them explain the marvellous Greek-Cypriot culinary dishes, and I knew my mouth was watering... hint, you should definitely try the El Greco, or you could try the specials of the day to save a few Euro’s!
My thanks go to all the staff we met whilst there over both years, Tasos, Paula, Jade, Jane (Pool Bar), Tanja, Denica, Jenna, Sophie, Kallum, and Andreas, especially Tasos and Paula, Tasos for remembering everybody's names throughout the holiday and making us feel so welcome every single day, and Paula for helping us with directions through to destinations for day trips in the car, even for the quiz night and cash bingo and making us feel like part of the family.
The hotel is superbly situated in my opinion, close enough to the main strip in Protaras for just a lovely walk down to the beach or into the nightlife, yet not so close as to hear the nightlife hustle and bustle.
Always more than willing to come back to the Andreotis Hotel Apartments, at the drop of a hat if given half the chance! Would recommend anyone who fancies the relaxing holiday of self-catering nature to try these apartments, you certainly won’t regret it!

Good apartment and excellent Rep
Good location with excellent beach and plenty of shops & places to eat nearby.
Outbound flight good , return flight was a nightmare due to babe in arms screaming almost the whole 4 hrs 30 mins.

Good location but main road traffic noise in rooms near the road. Requested a change to quiet room and was swapped to a room at the rear - much better. Staff really good and food really good. Not far to Beach (Fig Tree Bay) which is really good for those swimmers not comfortable with deeper waters. Plenty of restaurants and bars on the Strip!! Started to get really busy end of June - too busy for us. All in all great holiday.

Resort location of Protarus fine having been to this area on several occasions
Accommodation left a lot to be desired, security of apartment was concerning due to location being on ground floor level and the entrance door was in complete darkness due to overgrown trees blocking out any available natural daylight/street lighting from very close by main highway .when we arrived @
03.30hrs from our flight we struggled to find the door key opening & eventyually had to finger feel the keyhole. There was a lack of external lighting to the room, although after looking around the accommodation during stay we found that at some time there appeared to have been this type of lighting in place due to cover plates over redundant electrical wall fittings.
The entrance door lock was very loose and after looking at the door frame this appeared to have been forced open at some stage and the repair to the frame was not very well finished. The rear door to the apartrment faced out onto a rear access alley and was secured only by a "hasp & staple " temporary locking system and this was secured only internally by a small coach bolt that was dropped into the hasp.
Our "balcony" was effectively a patio on the front of the apartment outside the bedroom, but was of no value for enjoying the sun again due the overgrown trees blocking the sunlight.
We realised the following day of arrival that any complaint for further accommodation would have been useless due to another of the guests who where on our flight had complained and received the only other room that was available. This apartment we believe, did not conform to the brochure description and we felt that, because of the concerns of late night security it did not allow for enjoyment of our stay at this accommodation.
A further concern was the advertised air-conditioning to the room which we realised would have created an additional cost of 6 euros per day and 20 euros to hire the control unit for this air-con.
My wife and I have been married forty 40years and are very well travelled throughout this time in most parts of the world, we always predominantly go self catering in our accommodation due to the flexibility it affords us, during our stay.
We have stayed on 5 previous occasions in Protarus in various locations, we have travelled with yourselves before on may occasions and have never found a reason to complain, but feel that this time we do.
One further problem we found was the hidden costs that are starting to occur now particularly with charges for "extra leg room" on the plane and return journey excess baggage charging of 35 euros per additional kilo and the pffer of "fast track " check in at the return departure airport which started off on the transfer coach at 12euros only to become 10euros at the airport check in queue.
