The Costa del Sol, otherwise known as the ‘Sunshine Coast’, has a Mediterranean climate thanks to its location in the south of Spain. If you want to escape the high season crowds, May is a great time to visit. The resorts are quieter, but the days are getting warmer and sunnier as summer approaches.
