Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in the Algarve in December?
The Algarve’s in the south of Portugal close to North Africa which means it has a lovely climate that doesn’t cool down too much. You'll get nice mild temperatures over winter and you can still expect plenty of sun in December as the Algarve’s one of the sunniest places in Europe. There are mountains to the north that protect it from northern and Atlantic winds, and the breezes that do reach the Algarve are stronger offshore which is great for water sports and sailing. You'll be a bit warmer in the east because it’s closer to the Mediterranean than the west.
Averages
Faro, the Algarve’s capital, has an expected high of 17ºC in December. This drops to a chilly 8ºC at night so remember to bring some warmer clothes for the evenings. The sea temperature’s 18ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 100mm of rain over 12 days, and you’ll usually get ten hours of daylight with five hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be low. Sunset’s around 5.20pm.
