    Venetian Riviera weather April

What’s the weather like in Venetian Riviera in April?

The Venetian Riviera weather in April is very mild and enjoyable, making it the perfect destination for a spring holiday in the sun.

    Geographical influences

The region is known for its sandy coastline along northern Italy, which stretches west from Venice. It’s a popular location for holidays all year-round but things tend to be much quieter in spring, which is great for seeing the sights away from the crowds. The climate is slightly damp this month with moderate showers scattered across the month. The Adriatic Sea is very cold in April, so swimming in its cool waters isn’t advised until late-May or June.

With an average temperature of 17°C, sightseeing and other outdoor activities are ideal this month as it isn’t too hot. The humidity is also not so bad with an average level of 72% that doesn’t fluctuate much over the upcoming months. Coastal winds travel at 6mph, which can cool you down but they’ll also contribute to the lowering of temperatures. At night, temperatures drop to lows of around 8°C so remember to pack plenty of warm layers. Rainfall is still common this month and you can expect around 83mm of rain with up to 13 hours of sunlight per day.
