Zante Weather in May

What's the weather like in Zante in May? 

Zante is in the Ionian Sea, just off the west coast of southern Greece. This means the island has a typical Mediterranean climate with long hot summers. In May, summer is fast approaching and you'll get lots of sun and not much rain if you're going at this time. Temperatures are cooler than in the later months, and this is  due to the coastal breezes and north westerly winds that are usually at their strongest in the afternoon.
