    St. Lucia weather July

What’s the weather like in St Lucia in July?

St Lucia is close to the equator in the Caribbean Sea, and has a tropical climate which brings consistently hot weather all year round. The island has both a rainy and a dry season, with July falling in the middle of the wettest part of the year, so be prepared for wet weather. Although rain is common in July, it’s still a beautiful month to enjoy the warm Caribbean waters, relax on the beach and explore this vibrant, beautiful island.

In July, the average daytime temperature in St Lucia is a hot 28°C, with highs of 30°C in the afternoons and lows of 26°C after dark. With such warm weather, you’ll need to pack light clothing and lots of sun cream, while air conditioning is also a must-have. Although temperatures are very high in July, this time of year also brings lots of rain. The island expects around 170mm over the course of the month, and with 21 wet days it’s highly likely you’ll experience some light showers or even a thunderstorm or two.
