What’s the weather like in Bahamas in October?
There’s no need for warm weather clothes as the Bahamas weather in October is hot, sunny and humid. Temperatures will reach around 30°C most days but be prepared for tropical showers as October’s the end of the wet season around the islands.
Geographical influences
The Bahamas boast over 700 beautiful islands in the north Atlantic, to the east of the Caribbean. The northern islands, close to Florida, are slightly cooler and wetter than those in the south, near Cuba. The islands are low and flat and warm Gulf Stream weather sweeps across them, with little difference between coastal and inland temperatures.

The superb weather in Bahamas in October sees an average daytime high temperature of 30°C, which can rise by a couple of degrees around the southern islands. The moderate ocean breeze will help to keep you fresh. At night, the temperature will fall to around 20°C. The humidity and the UV levels are high, so use plenty of sunblock and carry water when you’re out in the daytime sun.
