Cardozo Hotel South Beach

The latest iteration of the Miami Beach property comes in the form of a full 15 million dollar makeover completed in 2019 by Hotel owners and global superstars Emilio and Gloria Estefan. The NEW Cardozo showcases a modern white motif that also embraces the hotels Art Deco legacy.

41 guest rooms and suites occupy Cardozos three floors. The clean white design that marks the hotels public areas spreads through each of these accommodations white bedframes don mother-of-pearl headboards; glossy cabinetry lines matte white walls; and bathrooms are decked in white tiles and sophisticated gold fixtures. A mix of king queen and double bed configurations with options for courtyard city or ocean views are available. “Fantastic Hotel!”

I had wanted to stay at the Cardozo Hotel for some time and was not disappointed. Unfortunately time only allowed a one night stay and arrived at 11pm due to a delayed flight. Check-in was smooth and when reaching the room discovered we had been upgraded to a corner suite which was massive and absolutely beautifully decorated. The bed was massive and quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have had the pleasure of sleeping in. With 2 bathrooms we were spoilt for choice. After a short walk along South Beach it was time to sleep. We had breakfast included in the rate which was tasty with good service, seating outside on the boardwalk watching locals skate/run past for their morning exercise. The hotel has a perfect location for exploring South Beach and its art deco buildings and a few doors away from the Versace Mansion. After a morning stroll along the beach and a Margherita at Versace it was time to check out. I will be back for sure but next time longer-the wait was worth it, such a great hotel with comfort and fantastic service to boot.

“Great location”

We stayed at the hotel for one night, on a Saturday. The location was great, and the service was excellent. We had lunch at the restaurant, and the food was very good. We also enjoyed the complimentary one-hour bike rental. We expected the hotel to be a bit noisy because of its location on Ocean Drive, but we were pleasantly surprised. We didn’t hear any noise from outside. However, the hallways are very echoey and not very soundproof, so we could hear people talking in the corridors in the middle of the night, which was quite noisy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

“Lovely stay”

The Cardozo is a lovely hotel, we stayed 5 nights . The hotel upgraded us to a lovely room which was so nice of them. The ladies on the front desk who checked us in were very helpful and went out of their way to help us. I would definitely stay again this was my second time and will be going back, Thank you for to all the staff that really do make it special for guests

“A great night!”

From the time we walked in and were greeted by Chiara, I knew this would be a great experience. I was impressed with the interior of this hotel. Our room was quaint but had all the basics with a beautiful bathroom. We were only here for a night but I highly recommend it!
