Just twenty minutes’ drive from Antalya Airport, this 5 star hotel boasts a prime beachfront location. When you fancy a dip, there are three outdoor pools, plus a bonus one with slides for the kids. Or you may just choose to sunbathe on the vast terrace in the shade of palm trees or on the private beach area. A further pool can be found at the spa, where you can also book a range of relaxation treatments. And you won’t need to worry about additional costs for meals, as it's an All Inclusive resort.
When you want to have fun, there’s plenty of choice. Bowling, darts, table tennis, squash and billiards are just some of the activities on offer. If you prefer an individual workout, the fully equipped gym will allow you to achieve your fitness goals. For primary school aged children there’s a miniclub, but the teenagers aren’t left out, as there’s a programme for them too. In the evening choose either a night of entertainment, provided by the animation team, or watch a blockbuster at the cinema.
The main restaurant, Zen, has capacity for 1200 people, with seating both inside and out. In high season Laila offers light meals and all-day snacks. For a more formal dinner, there are three a la carte options. La Cucina serves Italian favourites year-round, while in the summer, you can try rich Turkish cuisine and pan-Asian specialities. There’s no shortage of places to grab a drink either, with three bars open 12 months a year. In summer there’s the bonus option of the Tea House, serving your favourite hot drinks. After a sweet treat between meals? Visit the Patisserie for mouthwatering cakes and desserts, throughout the day and evening.
Standard rooms are a generous 32m2 and feature a queen, standard and sofa bed, allowing up to four people to share a room. But if you want even more space for your family, the family option has 65m2 of space with interconnecting rooms. You even get your own Jacuzzi®.
The centre of Alanya is under 20km from Limak Lara. You shouldn’t miss out on the chance to visit the 10th century Church of Saint Constantine or Atatürk's House and Museum, where you can see inside an Ottoman villa. On the way back, consider stopping off at the open-air Sandland museum. Here, sculptors show off their skills using sand to mould an impressive range of creatures. At night they are illuminated using all colours of the rainbow, creating the perfect conditions for an Instagrammable shot of a lion or mermaid.

Winter get away at Limak Limra 2023
This is part two of my review. I stayed at the Limak Limra hotel for two weeks at the beginning of January 2023. My first week was fraught with issues. I wrote a review whilst at that hotel and had my concerns addressed with the hotel guest services. The positives - great location short distance to Kemer with a picturesque harbour. Staff were on the whole friendly helpful and engaging. Not all spoke English but made an effort. New years bash our first day at the hotel was a. Spectacular celebration. It was well orchestrated and enjoyable for all concerned. This hotel is cat friendly and is heaven for cat lovers. Food was generally good however not always piping hot. There patisserie was opened daily and offered great coffee cakes and pastries. Now for the negatives rooms were a little dated. I stayed at the chalets as the main hotel rooms did not conform to Bristish safety standards. I was unhappy that I did not have a kettle in my room - I had to ask several times before getting one. Tv was not digital or smart and no English channels except 1 - BBC world news. I felt like I was stepping back in time. The hair dryer was basic and ineffective. Wifi was hit and miss. Entertainment was repetitive with little variety. Sometimes I found myself struggling to find a place to sit down when hotel was full. When a lot of guests left I found myself not bothering to sit as live singers were more and more repetitive not to mention poor acoustics. The animations team were good particularly Yassin- however needed more logistical planning of activities so they didn't clash! Hotel did not have 1 umbrella available despite 4 days of torrential rain. These small points you'd expect from a five star hotel. No pool tables or activities available inside except a tired table tennis table. There were three pool tables outside which cost 5 euros to play. I would have thought as a 5 star facility more activities would be available. Indoor board games that we're available ( backgammon chess )all had broken boards and pieces missing. There one unpleasant experience I had was with the jewelry vendor. He was very rude to me because I wasn't ready to buy from his shop after visiting it twice. I have never in all my years traveling experienced someone so rude!! I also was unhappy that I had to pay 4 euros to press a blouse as there are no irons provided in the room. Would I stay at this hotel again - yes but I'd make sure I came prepared with Netflix, a travel iron, a hair dryer, essential travel games, and an umbrella if in Winter. Definitely also shop for my Jewellery outside the hotel complex.
Unforgettable holiday
I came with my family and I shared a doube room with one person and the rest of the family had the family room. Our rooms were fantastic. I had a top floor sea view without even requesting this and my family had a jacuzzi in the family room and 2 balconies. The beds were extremely comfy. The reason I'll go back is for this and the staff. Every single one of them went above and beyond. The cleaners, animation, guest relations, entertainment, waiters and all are a credit to the hotel. We had 2 birthdays while there with a surprise and they helped make the days as perfect as can be. Thanks Limak Lara ♡
