Estival El Dorado Resort is a beachfront hotel in the coastal town of Cambrils, in the Tarragona province on the eastern coast of mainland Spain. You can walk out of the hotel's tropical gardens onto the sandy beach and shallow bay. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a separate kids' pool. If you want to do something more active, there are lots of sporting activities that you can sign up for. You can take an aerobics class or go for a workout in the gym. If you want to play games with friends or family, there are tennis courts, table tennis and darts. You can also take to the water with kayaks, paddle surfing and windsurfing. However, if you're here to relax, then you can take advantage of the hotel's spa treatments. You could steam in the sauna, take a Turkish bath, or have your muscles worked over with a massage. There's entertainment every evening at Estival El Dorado Resort, with a mix of theme nights, games and discos. The hotel has five bars where you can relax with a drink. You can also talk a walk along the beach, stopping at one of several bars to enjoy the sea view.

The hotel is by the beaches of Ardiaca and La Llosa, and is 1km from the centre of Cambrils. It's also a short drive away from a popular amusement park, which is a water park and theme park all in one. If you want to spend some time away from the beaches, you can visit the Cambrils fishing village. The port area is home to restaurants offering fresh fish and seafood dishes, as well as locally produced wine to go with it. The village also has several boutique shops and markets where you can browse for food, clothing and gifts.

The hotel has four restaurants to choose from, with indoor and outdoor seating. There are two buffet restaurants offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also has two ala carte restaurants, one open for lunch and dinner, the other open for dinner. Each restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine.

There are two kids' clubs, one for younger children and another for teenagers. There's also a playground, a playroom and a games room.

The rooms are bright and colourfully decorated. They all come with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and each has a balcony or terrace.

Stayed in October school holidays, two adults and an 8 and 6 year old. We are those knackered folk who always have the kids really, so not the instagram folk who can tell you about the sauna and gym. Will get what little gripes we have out the way. For the kids the slush machines are only turned on at night when the pub bar is open. In addition if you are all inclusive the kids should have access to ice lollies through the day but these seem to be under lock and key.... The food is good but not enough variety, there was no obvious themes in the main restaurant. The snack bar outside by the kids pool needs to cover its food as flies are a real problem here. The a la carte has quite a limited menu and requires you to order in advance. Apart from that, its excellent. The animation ream are very active through the day without being annoying as hell unlike a few places we have been! The kids enterainment team are also all over it. I appreciate some folk complain about the level of English from some of them. Ultimately you are in Spain. The kids were happy and keen to go to the kids club each day and the mini disco at night, which is on at a good time before dinner. Quality of the all inclusive food and drink is very good. My wife enjoyed the sangria and white wine, whilst the beer is excellent. The rooms are excellent, we had a large family room which was a kids side and adulst side with an ajoining bathroom accessible from either side. Lots of space and very comfortable. The kids pool area is superb, lots of different areas for them (and us) to play. They can go back and forward to the snack bar to get drinks and crisps/fruit through the day. The main pool area is lovely, and the adults only, where we collapsed in a heap when the kids were at club in afternoons, is a really nice space, good wee bar and a lovely feel to it. There was entertainment each night at a time families could sit and watch. The quality of the acts and the range was very good. Although you may struggle to get a table, seats were plentiful. Outwith resort the beach is literally 50m away and is lovely, watersports kit is on hand, and Cambrils town is a 20 minute walk. Its very pretty, lots of bars and places to eat, and the sort of shopping side streets that are a tourists dream. Not a fan of going back to places but would safely return here.

This Hotel accommodate for families & couples and is very spacious and clean - staff very polite welcoming & accommodating to your every needs. A1 The sea & beach is right on your doorstep by the hotel. There is a Adult area with a outside pool and sun beds & bar ( Toilet facilities near by & very clean ) There is also a large pool & outside bar by the reception area & Entertainment area (outside)also a inside bar with a inside Entertainment area. There is also a inside & outside pool - with Gym & Sauna - Steam Room - you can book a Massage & other treatments ( price very reasonable) The AlCarte Restaurant is very nice and the All - Inclusive food is extremely good a Big wide choice of food & plentiful. Good Being served all/day Seating area for dining is inside & outside very clean - helpful staff. The venue also got a outside space for a Private function Weddings ( Very nice right by the sea & Beach) The children area is very nice with a big splash pool area & Lifeguards constantly there- patrolling the pool area outside. The main town is about 40-45mins walk slowly with still a great view of the sea We flow in & out from (Reus) Airport and our transfer to the Hotel was a private transfer which took about 20mins by car ( if coach about 40-45mins) - now (Reus ) Airport) closed we were also the last flight leaving out on our return trip home on 24/10/22 the nearest Airport will be Barcelona - we recommend doing a private transfer ( if you can ) will get you there in more time from Barcelona Airport - but your stay at the Hotel will be definitely worth it. Estival El Dorado Resort / Costa Dorado / Cambrils is A1 please go & visit there is just so much nice & great things to say about this hotel

Beautiful, smart, modern hotel. Various outdoor areas and pools to enjoy, great for kids as splash pool near beach front part of the all inclusive deal. Spacious, tidy, quiet rooms, no complaints at all. Food included was of a really good standard, lots of choice. Drink was great (Estrella on tap) and various cocktails included, were all enjoyed. kids entertainment every night followed by a show at evening time (various dance shows, magician, bands), something different each night, good solid family entertainment. Would stop again and recommend. The beach is very close to the resort and you can walk to Cambrils by walking down the beach front, approx. 30-40mins.
