Best Benalmadena Hotel is a seafront hotel in the peaceful town of Benalmadena on Spain's Costa del Sol. Playa Torre Vijia is just steps away, or you can relax in the garden where there is a sun terrace and an outdoor swimming pool. Other facilities at Best Benalmadena Hotel include a gym and spa, where you can enjoy a Turkish bath and a sauna. There's a hotel-run kids' club to keep the children active, while parents might enjoy the drinks on offer at the bar, which is open from morning until late. The buffet restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offers a varied selection of international dishes. Sandwiched between Fuengirola and Torremolinos, day trippers can also reach Marbella and Malaga in under an hour by car. Benalmadena, which is a short drive from the hotel, is the closest town and has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. It also has a number of beaches, a theme park and a range of other attractions. The Andalusian Old Town is home to lots of architectural points of interest, and you can ride a cable car to the summit of Mount Calamorro and enjoy the panoramic views from up there.
Playa Torre Vijia is 50m away, and the seafront promenade connects the beach with Puerto Marina, 3km away, where there are more bars and seafood restaurants. You can relax by the harbour with a drink and watch the boats come in. Also within walking distance is Parque De La Paloma, which features waterfalls and themed gardens as well as exotic birds, rabbits and hens roaming freely. Torremolinos is renowned for its beaches and its vibrant nightlife, while Fuengirola will keep shoppers busy with its boutique stores, mini markets and tapas bars. For a city-based day out, Malaga offers lots to see and do.
If you want to try bars or restaurants outside of the hotel then Puerto Marina or Benalmadena town are closest. You'll find lots of choice from Mediterranean and freshly-caught seafood to fast food chains and restaurants serving international dishes. The marina's bars often open until the early hours.
If you want to play sports like tennis, golf and football then Malaga is your best bet, while the hotel regularly hosts entertainment.
The rooms at Best Benalmadena have Wi-Fi, a minibar and a TV. They have either air conditioning or central heating, depending on the time of year.

Lovely break away
We visited in late October, everything was absolutely fine. The food wasn’t the best but it was ok. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean, bright and a good size. We had a fantastic sea view. The only complaint would be the gym, my partner likes to go every day and it wasn’t as accessible as stated, staff weren’t always there and it was locked up quite a bit. Overall I’d be happy to return.
Clean and great location
Lovely clean hotel with a you could ask for, will go back excellent clean rooms, cheap Drink, staff friendly great service, lovely location walk to the beach 2 pools couldn't find anyone who was not happy when staying there
October break
Late October break for 5 days. Hotel was very welcoming and staff attentive. Hotel rooms very clean and spacious with excellent views of the beach and coastline. I was there with my Dad who is in a wheelchair and access was very good. The lifts were a bit neat with only able to accommodate me and my Dad in his wheelchair, although there are ample lifts so not long to wait. The pool area was clean with plenty loungers, but this didn't stop the towel brigade securing prime areas around the pool early morning then not reappearing until late morning. There is a lovely beachside walk with access at the rear of the hotel, but have to manoeuvre down a steep path, which wasn't perfect with the wheelchair. Food was decent but not great, typical European style. Taxi needed to get to main part of Benalmadena but always under 10 euros. The hotel was quite busy, which was a surprise considering was end of season. Which leads me to believe the hotel would be very busy in July August.
