“Mixed experience”

Very small rooms, but clean. Shower temperature goes from freezing to scalding in a split second. Good cold and warm pools. Kids entertainment staff were really good, as were the cleaners and majority of staff. Very slow bar service, so prepare to queue. Food was a mixed experience. Great for fish dishes, kids choices were poor. Any nice food went quickly and they weren't always replenished. Some dishes like crepes were good and salads were excellent, but pork dishes were really poor. Could do with more chicken dishes and beef (served veal, which I find hard to stomach). Good location.

“Hopefully I will return.”

Very clean hotel , staff very pleasant and food OK. Doing a bit of work on the 7th floor but they did not start to early so you can live with that. Special mention to the all the young bar staff who did not mind sharing a joke with me (I'm an old fellow 75) and if they read this they might remember me as Southern Comfort. or Brian Joseph. “Room for improvement”

This hotel was clearly great when it was first built but it’s needing a little tlc to bring it back to what it was. Some parts were very clean others weren’t. Our room had some wear and tear including the toilet seat missing paint. We were in a family room which was fine but the balcony was tiny and there was no room after hanging up our wet clothes from the daily activities. Staff in general were great. Food was ok, it was themed nights but it was hard to get the timing right to have your food hot! It’s a stone throw from the beach which is good but you have around 100m distance of water you’re allowed to swim too only. There isn’t much for kids to do, I would suggest going to Costa Adeje which seems more family friendly if you have young kids. This was maybe a 4 star back in the day but it’s a 3 for me.

“Amazing holiday”

Well my husband wrote a review when we came march 22nd this year We were amazed at the hotel. We were blessed with a great room with a balcony with sun beds already there. It was brilliant to relax on the balcony rather than having to collect towels ect and go to sit within the grounds. The food was excellent with a great choice and plenty to eat. The location was great as we mainly spend our nights at the night owl which is just steps away for our northern soul. The hotel was great value . We have now booked again to come and stay at the hotel on the 3rd November for a week as we enjoyed the hotel but hoping we will be lucky to have the same room when we came in March with sun loungers on the balcony. Will be lovely to see the hard working staff who were amazing 😍😍 Sue and Mik Boon

“More negatives than positives for us.”

The adults infinity pool and area on the second floor was the saving grace of this hotel for us. Sunbeds available at anytime during the day. I agree with other reviews regarding the smoking I think there should be a specific area rather than allowing smoking at the sunbeds. We were worried about the noise as we did not realise how close it was to Veronica’s, purely our fault for not checking but thankfully we were given a room at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet we did not hear anything once the doors were closed. The area around there is grim and in my opinion of going to Tenerife for many years has got worse and dirtier. We were half board and the food was okay. It was mediocre, we did manage to find something but it wasn’t great. We mainly stuck to simple staples of toast in the morning and salad for evening meals. I also agree with other reviews about the staff in the restaurant they were not very welcoming and made it feel like a chore to even get you a drink. On the other hand the reception staff were lovely. The air conditioning in the rooms is basically non existent we had the card in the electric fully for the 5 days we were there and it was boiling sometimes to the point it made you feel sick and uncomfortable. The room was very basic but did suffice for the amount of time we spent in there which we kept to a minimum as I dreaded going into the heat. Even after a shower within minutes you felt like you needed another one. For all the negative reasons I would not stay at this hotel again as they did outweigh the positives for us.
