If you wish to explore Lobos Island it’s just a 20-minute ride away by ferry. To preserve the peace and beauty of the island you are only permitted to stay for a maximum of four hours. It is possible to cycle around the entire island in around 45 minutes. Alternatively, you may opt to go snorkelling, windsurfing, dolphin watching or hike up La Caldera. There are many beaches on the island but only one is accessible.

Back on Fuerteventura, you shouldn’t pass on the opportunity to take a closer look at the mysterious Villa Tabaiba. This colourful house is the work of architect Carlos Calderón Yruegas and he must be proud of it, as he has lived there for 30 years.
