Cyprotel Faliraki Hotel is a 4 star all-inclusive, friendly-friendly hotel on the Greek island of Rhodes. The long sandy Faliraki Beach is just a 15 minute walk away, while there are an abundance of tavernas in the area. All guests over 6 years old can have fun at the onsite water park. It boasts six slides, including a multi-racer and there's also a splash pool for the children.
The main pool is in a separate area, providing peace and quiet from the screams of excitement at the water park. Swim up to the Idra bar (open 10am to midnight) for a range of refreshing beverages, which you can then enjoy from the comfort of a sunlounger. You can also grab light bites for lunch or an afternoon snack at Danae. For the little ones the kids’ club offers a range of fun activities morning and afternoon, seven days a week. In the evenings there’s the mini disco.
Keep active with a game of tennis, volleyball, boccia and football. Alternatively join a yoga, water aerobics or air gun shooting class or partake in a game of darts or giant chess. Entertainment during the afternoon and evening is provided by the animation team; the schedule will be advertised at the hotel when you arrive.
Enjoy wonderful views of the sea and a range of delicious freshly prepared dishes at Lydia, the hotel’s restaurant. Themed cuisine for your evening meals will let your palate take a journey around the world. If you like a lie-in there’s a late breakfast service available until 11am. Please note a smart dress code applies for dinner, so be sure to pack something suitable.
After your evening meal head up to Helena, the rooftop bar, for a digestif. Cocktails, beers, wines, juices, water, soft drinks and tea & coffee are included as part of the all-inclusive package. Bottled drinks and snacks served at the kiosk are not included. The water park is an alcohol free zone but complimentary soft drinks are available.
The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a balcony, WiFi, satellite TV, a safe, tea & coffee making facilities, a mini fridge and a pool towel. Families aren’t stuck with one option - there’s a choice of room types to suit your needs, whether you prefer a separate sleeping area for the kids or not. You can also choose between bunk, sofa and single beds for the little ones.
Cyprotel Faliraki is 6km from Kallithea where there are further beaches, as well as the popular attraction of Kallithea Springs. In the 1920s Italian commander Mario Lago built a spa here, believing the waters had health benefits. While the actual spa facility has since closed, you can still admire the magnificent marble structures, mosaic flooring and the huge fountain at the entrance.
History lovers shouldn’t pass on the opportunity to visit the medieval old town of Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just a 25 minute drive away. Here the Knights of St John built the first settlement around a small port and expanded it during the 13th century. Today you can see the remains of castles, temples and fortifications. A visit to the Archaeological Museum will help explain the bygone times.
