Potidea Palace Hotel

Potidea Palace Hotel is a 4 star All Inclusive hotel located in Greece’s Halkidiki region. Over 230 rooms are spread across nine buildings, surrounded by landscaped gardens. The rooms with a view really do offer just that. Mount Olympus is visible from the hotel, as well as the crystal clear waters of the Aegean. There’s a wide range of music, entertainment and shows for both adults and kids. And for the grown-ups who like a drink, there’s a wine cellar housing over 1300 varieties.

If you’re just looking to chill, loungers are available both poolside and on the beach. Or to upgrade to a higher level of relaxation visit the spa. It’s equipped with an indoor hydro massage pool, hamman, steam room and beauty centre. There’s also a sauna, with only use included at no additional charge (reservation required). Prefer to be more active? There’s two tennis courts and a fully equipped gym, as well as beach volleyball, water polo, darts, yoga classes and much more. Meanwhile, the little ones can enjoy the spray park, face painting, cooking and a mini disco, among many other activities.

The main restaurant offers guests exquisite International and Mediterranean cuisine, which can be enjoyed as you look out at the Aegean Sea. For a more formal dining experience, visit the a la carte Acropolis, dishing up the finest Greek dishes. When it’s time for a refreshing drink there’s a choice of four bars, including poolside and beach options. The All Inclusive service ends at 11pm but three bars remain open later than that.

Deluxe Rooms offer 25m2 of space, with either a garden or sea view. As well as your own balcony, you’ll benefit from a walk-in shower, safe, minibar and a Nespresso® coffee maker. The Family option overlooks the garden, with space to sleep four. For a longer stay you could consider upgrading to a Junior Suite or Suite to have the additional perk of having a comfortable lounge.

The hotel is just down the road from Agios Mamas Marsh, so maybe you’ll spot some migrating birds during your stay. The kids will probably twist your arm into taking them to the waterpark (2.5km away). While if you venture north there’s an array of historical sites and some wineries too.
