Corfu Aquarium Greece

Escape from the midday heat with a visit to Corfu Aquarium; a small but highly-rated attraction on the west coast of Corfu. Discover more about Mediterranean marine life as you view the colourful tanks, home to local fish and sea creatures including Moray Eels, lobsters and even an octopus.

Corfu Aquarium gives you an unforgettable look at the underwater world, found off the shores of the island. For an extra-special experience, take the personal guided tour; the friendly, knowledgeable staff will tell you more about the fish on display.

Once you've passed the fish tanks, prepare for a surprise as you come across several spacious reptile enclosures. Home to lizards and geckos, you can even pet a snake and iguana if you're feeling brave.

Located in Paleokastritsa on the west coast of the island, you can get to the aquarium by hiring a car and parking at the on-site car park. Alternatively, hop on a bus with an organised day trip.

The aquarium is compact and a visit takes no more than an hour, but there are plenty more things to see and do in the local area. Paleokastritsa Beach is a short drive away, where you can enjoy spectacular clifftop views or go for a swim. You can also buy a ticket to combine your aquarium visit with a glass bottomed boat trip.
