Bluesun hotel Neptun All inclusive is an All Inclusive hotel just steps from the beach on Croatia's Dalmatian Coast. A short walk away is the small but popular village of Tucepi. Having emerged as a destination for travellers in the '60s, it's long been known for its shingle beach and promenade that stretches to the neighbouring resort of Podgora. The hotel was partly renovated in 2017. It has an outdoor pool with an integrated section for children, and a pool bar. You'll also have the option to visit the indoor pool at Hotel Alga, a short walk away. As well as swimming and sunbathing, you can use the tennis courts if you fancy getting a game in. Throughout the day, you can take advantage of the All Inclusive offering at the hotel. Main meals are available in the buffet restaurant from early morning until mid-evening, while snacks are offered at one of the hotel's bars later in the afternoon. If you're feeling peckish, afternoon tea and biscuits are served daily. A selection of organised activities, such as exercise classes, are available throughout the day. In the evenings, you can choose to relax on your balcony or terrace, or watch the nightly shows organised by the entertainment team. The local town has stores that stock everything from daily provisions to souvenirs. Guests at Bluesun hotel Neptun All inclusive can also use the onsite shop, which sells items for the beach and other holiday essentials.
As well as being on Tucepi beach, this hotel is a short walk from some popular spots. It's on the Makarska Riviera, a popular stretch of coastline in Croatia which has plenty of coves and small villages to explore. Along the promenade, it's a 1km walk into Tucepi, while the town of Podgora is 4km away. Alternatively, there are several buses that run between the neighbouring towns during the week. Tucepi has a variety of tavernas, or konoba, as Croatians call them. As well as international options, these restaurants serve traditional dishes, with a heavy focus on freshly caught fish and seafood. Further afield is Croatia's second largest city, Split, which you can visit for a day trip. Here you'll find a wide variety of attractions, including Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The hotel's buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Late risers can choose a second breakfast sitting. Water, soft drinks, local juice, draught beer, wine and Croatian brandy are available in the bars from mid-morning until late at night. Midnight snacks are offered, too.
The entertainment team runs daily kids' and teens' clubs. You can play a game of table tennis or pool, and take part in organised games.
Rooms at Bluesun Neptun are decorated in a simple style. As well as air conditioning, you'll have a TV with satellite channels.
Bluesun Neptun has a small shop where you can buy beach equipment, postcards, summer clothes and various accessorises.

Neptune would not revist this Hotel
This Hotel is over two hours from Split airport which is not the best when travelling with children. The situation of this hotel is right by the beach with views of the mountains and the sea, and the rooms are clean and comfortable however this is where the positives end. The food is disgusting served in a most unappetizing way reminiscent of a bad canteen. Most of the offerings are overcooked and the choice is very limited and repetitive. The choice for children is even worse. During our weeks stay we ate out every other night. The obese guests in the hotel which there were many seemed to enjoy the food and drink and I could not decide if this was because it was all inclusive or because they had lost all sense of taste The drinks supplied are no better the beer is like water and the wine is great for flavouring chips. The soft drinks are all mainly flavoured water and if the orange juice was shown an orange it would not recognise it !!! If you require a lounger by the pool you have to be up at 5.30am which not entirely the hotels fault but the guest actions could be restricted by the hotel. The dinks and service in the lobby bar excellent however it was not used because it was not free, which for me was great because I could have pre dinner drinks in peace. If you have lost all your taste and don't mind getting up at 5.30 in the morning this is the perfect hotel for you !!!
Stunning location
So arrived at the hotel after travelling 2hrs from split on the transfer. First impressions were, great weather, clean hotel stunning location and couldn't wait to get to the pool with the kids. The beach is a stone throw away from the hotel which had shingles not sand and crystal blue sea. The drinks were absolutely fine for the rating of this hotel and so was the food tbf but got repetitive quickly. Good salad choice. Breakfast was good not great but enough choice for a 7day stay.. Did miss the typical full English pool bar was good staff served you quickly but would of been nice for them to smile and engage with guest a little more. Evening meal fine but not much choice for kids... Most ate pizza and chips wasn't much of a variety. Snack bar had hot dog sausage chips ice cream popcorn cheese hams bread rolls.. This didn't change all week.. We had a gentleman sing the first night and then no entertainment for the rest of our stay.. Kids club wasn't on either which disappointed us a family.. It stated in the reception that entertainment would be on every evening at 8pm but nothing at all.. Rooms were clean and tidy with fresh towels everyday.. Pool towels you could get from the gym paying a deposit of 100 kuna per towel.. Loads of seating and room around the pool.. Outside the hotel you have a lovely walk to the end of tucepi where there were a few more bars open for food ice cream and drinks, gift shops and supermarket. In season there would be more open and to look at.. But you walk right by the beach with the most beautiful Sunsets.. The other way is a walk to makarska which was lovely and scenic. Makarska was slightly more lively with more choice to eat out. We got a private speed boat back to tucepi which was really fun. All in all.. Even out of season it was really beautiful and relaxing, just wish there were a little more going on at the hotel for adults and children.. Stunning location and would return to this hotel but would probably eat out more then we would eat at the hotel. Also the fillit steak at the end of tucepi served by Borris was amazing he has a little black dog called biggie.. Look out for him he sits just outside the reastuant
Disappointing
Having heard really good things about Croatia we were really looking forward to a family holiday. The setting of this hotel is stunning with mountains at the back and a beautiful beach just a few meters as you exit the front of the hotel. Sadly this hotel didn’t match its surroundings. The drinks are just awful .. the food very very repetitive and to get a smile out of the hotel staff was a near impossibility. The cleaners start very early and woke us up most mornings about 6.30. I enquired about trying to find a sports bar to watch Wimbledon and also the golf to be met with shrugged shoulders. I walked the full length of the promenade and it is just the case that if you like a pint and watching sport don’t go to Croatia. Not 1 bar had a TV. We also had our two teenagers with us and there are limited things for them to do. A lovely destination but won’t be returning. Overall a lovely destination but won’t be returning.
