KONG – Portuguese classics, but vegan, in a cosy and classy Cais do Sodré spot. Think seitan steak and vegan salmon. Quick hop via Baixa-Chiado + Green Line.

Barcelona - Vegan Tapas & Central Stays

Quick take: Barcelona isn’t just jamón country - it’s vegan tapas, Catalan plates and some of Spain’s best vegan restaurants serving it all up.

• Rasoterra – elegant vegan dining with seasonal Catalan plates and craft wines in the Gothic Quarter. Only a couple of stops from Catalunya (2–3 mins to Liceu).

Amsterdam - Vegan Burgers, Stroopwafels & Canalside Hotels

Quick take: Amsterdam is carb heaven in canal form - vegan burgers. stroopwafels and canalside cafés that know how to pile it on.
