Weather in Campania Region

Campania is known for its warm, Mediterranean climate. Summers are typically hot, sunny and dry while winters are cooler with an increased chance of rain. Winters are mild along the coast, with average temperatures around 10-12°C, while the inland hills and mountains can be noticeably colder and sometimes see snowfall. January is the coldest month of the year, with an average temperature of just 8°C. Winter isn’t a bad time to visit Campania and the region still enjoys a lot of sunshine throughout the season. Rainfall is highest in late autumn and early winter - November is typically the wettest month - while summer remains very dry, especially along the coast.
