    Amalfi weather February

What’s the weather like in Amalfi in February?

The Amalfi coast is known for its golden beaches and medieval architecture that makes it a wonderful destination if you want to soak up the sun and the culture during your visit. Amalfi weather in February isn’t as warm as the summer but it’s still mild with plenty of sunshine per day.

    Geographical influences

Amalfi is a popular town on Italy’s south-west coast. It’s surrounded by romantic cliffs with a busy fishing port by the harbour, which gives the town a very traditional Italian vibe to it. There are plenty of snack bars, cafes and bars lined along the promenade, which is perfect if you’re spending the day out on the beach. On rainy days, you can pass the time with a visit to the Cathedral of St Andrew, which stands proudly in the centre of town.

The average temperature is around 13°C, which is quite mild for this time of year. Humidity levels are high at around 77% with wind speeds reaching up to 7mph near the coast. Each day has ten hours of sunshine, which has increased from previous months and you’ll have more time to sightsee and take day trips to nearby towns and resorts. The average monthly rainfall in February is 30mm, which isn’t much but you may want to keep an eye on the forecast to be prepared.
