Weather in Hersonissos

Hersonissos is a vibrant resort town on Crete’s north coast. The weather is very warm and sunny throughout the year, with slightly cooler temperatures from December to February. The weather begins to warm up in May, following quite a cold and wet winter in Hersonissos. Summer is the warmest season with highs of 29°C in July and August. The Mediterranean Sea is usually very mild off the coast of Hersonissos in Crete. You can enjoy a swim in late spring to early autumn before the water gets too chilly.
