Small but perfectly formed
Our first attempt at all inclusive and this one seemed to tick all of the boxes, not too big, good choice of food and clean, comfortable apartments.
That being said, as a personal preference we still think we prefer the freedom of self catering

Our Turkish holiday
Champion village was perfectly located, beautifully designed... The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly our holiday was ruined by other European visitors taking over the three large pool and beach areas, thereby causing a sun-bed issue of 1980's EPIC proportions! Basically if you required a sun-bed you needed to get up at 6am to guarantee a place! That's exactly why you go on holiday of course...for all that extra sleep (you're not going to get!)
Apart from this...and several run-ins with our Russian and German neighbours and a particularly nasty bout of sickness which my son and my husband contracted...!!! We had a "grate" holiday!

Stunning holiday resort, Excellent holiday for all ages
The champion HV lives up to all the good reviews you can possibly read, The complex is built basically in a small forest, But what is amazing is that the buildings that are now 25 yrs old have been built around the trees,, in fact the trees go through the buildings. Very green. It is as stunning as the pictures show. We went there for 1 week in sept 2012. weather is always very good still even late in sept, 30 degrees or more. The staff are very pleased to help and are always available if needed. The holiday i would say is a relaxed holiday against some that we have been on, But you can make it what you want. Im sure in the high season there would be more going on as there would be more people to keep entertained, but the week we went was perfect for what we wanted, A rest. There is a large range of food available, for all tastes. And to be honest is mainly very good, The cakes are a must try. We as a family enjoyed our holiday in the Champion and will be going back very soon. The only one down i would say is that the beds can be a little hard, Other guests said the same whilst we were there, but this is prity much all i can find to fault the complex. You will love this place so book it,,,,, Paul 12/10/12

Terrible - would never recommend it to a family and not sure where the 4* rating came from.....
The people are friendly enough but its all based in German and Russian with a little bit of English thrown in for good measure.
Our son couldn't join in the kids club because he couldn't understand it - when we did find a British family they were really excited because there was a 2nd English child in the kids club...so sad for the children.
The pools were lovely as were the flumes and the surroundings.
The beach is pebbly, which I wish we had known before we went.
The food was alright if you like the same fried food each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Children's food choices were not so good either. It wasn't befitting a 4* hotel (or 5* by Turkish standards apparently). In fact, we came home and had lost weight... on an all inclusive holiday! We also had to pay extra for kiddies ice creams during the day.
The worst part of the holiday was the ;worse than terrible; housekeepers.
They were meant to come in every day - for at least 4 days they didn't come in and left us without toilet roll for 3 days! I had to beg reception for toilet roll and even then they only gave us half a loo roll from the reception toilets. The linen had holes in in and stayed on my bed for 3 days...which is how I knew that they hadn't actually changed the sheets as they should have. The towels had stains on them, which I hate to say this looked like dried blood on them. To top is off the housekeers told reception that they had been when they clearly hadn't! ...oh yeah...they had been outside our door when we left in the morning...maybe thats what they meant...that they had been in the vicinity?
We have now put in a complaint with Thomas Cook about this hotel and hope that they can restore our faith in their travel company...failing that its over to Thompsons we go!

Ideal for a comfortable relaxing holiday
The village was set in very pleasant grounds which were maintained extremely well. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean with good air con and fully met our expectations. There are 2 main pools and we tended to use the smaller "adult" pool as we found that to get a sun bed at the larger pool you needed to get your towel on the bed by about 7.00am! There was some confusion as to whether children were allowed in the adult pool, we feel that management need to decide one way or the other and manage it accordingly. We thought that the food was exceptional and the staff in the restaurant were all very pleasant, although sometimes they were a bit eager to take your plate away. One minor criticism is the so called "a la carte" restaurants, there are a choice of 3 dishes and you have to choose in the morning when you book. I think, if you're claiming to offer "a la carte" you should do it properly. In my opinion, the buffet restaurant is superior to the "a la carte". The bars were well staffed and there was never a problem getting a drink, again the bar staff were very pleasant and efficient, especially Oseman at the adult pool bar. We didn't get very involved with the animation team, but from what we saw, they were very enthusiastic and worked very hard. Overall we had an excellent stay and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others.
