we have just got back from blue lagoon hotel. The room was very basic but very clean our room overlooked neighbouring hotel pool area so we never sat out, Breakfasts were basic boiled eggs and cereals when i asked for scrambled egg i was told i would be charged. it is situated at the top of the main strip so not noisy although a fair walking distance to beach. I was upset there was no was no entertainment on at all just as well that the friendly staff made our holiday we would go back to olu deniz as it is beautiful although i would try a different hotel. NOTE- the wifi code is 1122334455 as my phone would not get it and when i enquired they shrugged their shoulders. be careful if you go to the barbers a few doors down hubby went for a shave @15 lira but he waxed ears etc which he didnt ask for and charged us 60 lira

Another great holiday at Blue Lagoon
the Blue Lagoon is a very good hotel, the accommodation is good, although we stayed b&b, the meals we did have were excellent, the breakfast was typical Turkish, with odd extras, the lack of a full English was not a problem, but was available at an extra cost, The staff were helpful and pleasant, and George was his usual larger than life self. The pool is large enough for a serious swim and room for more energetic activities. Well worth another visit.

6th visit as always excellent!
This was our 6th visit to the hotel, as always very welcoming spotlessly clean, rooms have been refurbished new bathrooms and flooring. food excellent vast buffet breakfast with extras every day- pancakes, ommlettes etc. 4 course meals in evening great value. we find it best to settle your bar bill daily they have a card system , so you can keep account of your spending. olu deniz is a great place lots of bars and restaurants all great, beaches on the lagoon beautiful, and great excursions, jeep safari, dalyan river trip , saklikent. one negative point the coach that took us to airport on return was too small broken seats, had to put cases on back seats as no room for them it was so old it barely made it up the hill and a 2 foot step down when getting off DANGEROUS!!!!!

Great holiday; ideal for familes of all ages and couples.
We had a great holiday at the Blue Lagoon Hotel. As described it is set against a stunning mountainous backdrop; it was a pleasure to lie back on your sunbed and feel you were cocooned in natural beauty. Our room was basic, but clean and fairly spacious with a King Size bed . Our (small) balcony was sufficient for 2 chairs and a small table and overlooked the pool; we could even see the sea to the right of our balcony. We stayed on a B and B basis, and found the food to be adequate albeit typically Turkish. We often had lunch in the hotel and found the waiters to be very helpful and friendly - the lunch menu was good and reasonably priced. The bar staff were also very friendly and made us feel very welcome The location was great - a slow 10 min walk to the sea front, and not so close that we were bothered by noise. The Blue Lagoon Park was a good 15 mins walk away. This was our 4th visit to Olu Deniz, and I would thoroughly recommend the resort and this hotel in particular.

Relaxing Holiday Olu Deniz Turkey
Had lovely relaxing holiday at the Blue Lagoon Hotel Olu Deniz Turkey the hotel is around 750 meters from the beach , great places to eat down the main strip. The hotel is very clean food is good & staff very friendly. Sept is a great time to go as the weather is still in the mid to high 70s. Olu Deniz is well suited for couples of around 35 Yrs plus & young families.
I've been to other places in Turkey this is by far the best place for couples we are in are mid 40s plenty for are age group to do.

Very good holiday in Oludeniz
We stayed bed & Breakfast in the Blue lagoon hotel, although this may not be the best hotel in the resort, the accomodation was basic, clean and well equipt, we required a fridge for medical reasons, this was provided at a charge as was the safe in reception, the aircon was included in the price for Thomas Cook customers. The pool was cleaned daily to a high standard. The location nestled between the hills was picturesque. The breakfast was "Turkish", which we enjoyed, full english provided for about £4, but why, you can get that at home, the food at other meals was very good. The service from all staff was first class and nothing was too much trouble, We are hoping to go back next year. The resort was quieter than most, which was fine for us, plenty of good restraunts and bars, the Boat trip on a smaller boat and Jeep safari were excellent and good value for money. The flights were very good, the only down side was the 2hr transfer from the airport,

Family Holiday in Turkey
Checking in process at Norwich Airport was a disarster as boarding cards had to be written out. I had priority boarding booked had to wait and board with everyone else. We were picked up far too late from our hotel to get to the airport for our flight home. We arrived at Dalaman airport at 4.45pm when our flight left at 5.30pm and again boarding passes had to be hand written. We were still waiting to check in after our departure time. I had no assistance at all to the gate.
