Los Cristianos is a resort on the far southern tip of Tenerife. Its location means it enjoys a subtropical climate with constant heat and sunshine lasting throughout the year. High temperatures are expected all year-round, making Los Cristianos a perfect holiday destination no matter when you visit. The summer has the hottest weather, with highs of 27°C. August is the warmest month of the year and the best time to go to Los Cristianos if you love the sun, heat, and sand. It’s perfect for a swim in the sea, with an average temperature of 23°C and up to 13 hours of sunshine per day. Warm winds blow in from the Sahara Desert to the island of Tenerife, but by the time it reaches the resort it cools and brings a refreshing relief from the heat. If you prefer cooler temperatures, the best time to visit Los Cristianos is sometime in the spring or autumn. Temperatures have cooled but are still very warm and enjoyable with lower humidity levels and not much rainfall.
