Holiday in marmaris turkey
Just got back from cettia beach resort, the hotel was clean and reception people very helpful, entertainment people very good with kids and adults. Marta the liaison person very good at her job could be the manager of hotel. The staff in restaurant very good and helpful (these are good points) . The downside was the food it was hit and miss, the bar staff need to learn people skills, pool area very small and when I go all inclusive I expect it to be all inclusive. No ice cream in restaurant you have to pay for it in shop and the kids club cost money nearly every day my son-in-law had to pay £10 for one child,he has four children ( cost a fortune). This to me is not all inclusive, to me this hotel is a 3 star not a 4 star and no I would not be returning to this hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel.
I went to the hotel in this summer with my friend.I did not like employees' attitude. We went there as two girls , and stuffs were disturbing us, especially servers. They were hitting on us.The animators were not respectful.Food quality was so poor, the taste was not good. The food contains so much fat and salt. There were not so many kinds of food.I wish I would go to a hotel except this one.We regretted to choose this hotel.I do not recommended this hotel at all.

Everything you dream..
Myself and my husband spent two weeks at Cettia Beach Resort from 12th-26th April and cannot wait to go back! Everything about this hotel is of the highest standard and quality, from the restaurant and bars to the rooms and beach/jetty. But what made our holiday absolutely fantastic was the superb staff !! It was our first time to Turkey and I am gutted we hadn't booked sooner.
ROOM: We booked through Thomas Cook on an all inclusive board and added a front sea view room to our package at an extra reasonable price. Transfer to the hotel was adequate, and when we arrived at the hotel check in was quick and easy; we were even helped with our cases up to our room (421). Our room was absolutely beautiful, with an even better view of the sea and mountains. The room was spotless, with towels changed and rooms cleaned daily. We did have two twin beds so we asked reception if they could be pushed together, which was done within the same hour. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom amazing (particularly the power shower) with complimentary soap, and dove shampoo and conditioner. The minibar was stocked on arrival and was handy to keep bought drinks cool. The room did get stuffy on a morning and the air conditioning only worked for the first ten seconds but we just opened the balcony and room doors to let some cool air in. We paid £20 to upgrade to satellite TV, which was very ideal for whenever we were in the room.
SPA: Okay, so Speedy caught up with us on our first day and sold a spa package to us for £40 each, which included a fish pedicure, sauna, a Turkish bath, foam massage, face mask and oil massage. These were absolutely fantastic, Speedy was hilarious and the spa staff really polite and attentive. The spa itself is stunning, with a great atmosphere that enables you to relax completely. We ended up buying another spa package at the end of our holiday from Maria for the same price, which included everything above apart from the Turkish bath and face mask, with the substitution of a honey massage and head massage which were fantastic! Anyone thinking of visiting Cettia definitely need to get to the spa at the beginning of your stay.
HOTEL: The whole hotel, inside and out was spotlessly clean. The reception area, where Melisa and Samet work is incredible, with shiny marble floors and retro-style furniture. Melisa is such a sweetie and great at killer pool!! The indoor bar (Bar B) has a very relaxing atmosphere, with lots of tables and chairs and three sofas to sit back on and read one of the many books that are available. The hotel also has a separate indoor seating area with a hot drinks machine available. The outdoor pool area is very attractive with lovely patio sets to enjoy the sunshine on and more hot and cold drinks machines are available. The pool is VERY cold but looks clean and there are plenty of sunbeds available around the pool, on the shingle beach and on the tranquil jetty - nicknamed the Lazy Island. The Tirzik bar outside is great, with wasps to keep you company. The entertainment area is small but is complimented by the decor. Jon and Sam, the hotel photographers have a small area beside the outdoor bar for guests to arrange photo shoots. We booked one at sunset and Jon did a brilliant job directing all the poses. He then gave us a great deal on 30 printed photos in a photo album, 2 keyrings and a disc with all the photos on for £100. The indoor restaurant is spacious but intimate, with tables for couples and also for groups.
FOOD: Every meal there were a wide variety of different foods on offer, both hot and cold. Breakfast was yummy; with fresh bread, eggs, beans, pastries, sausages, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, salad and meat and cheese available daily with a self service cold soft drinks machine. Fresh omelettes were made to order outside every morning. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, quickly removing our empty plates and glasses and knew our preferred drinks by the second day! Tables were laid out with fresh table cloths after each person had finished their meal. Lunch and dinner were delicious! There were always a range of different dishes and soups available with outdoor cooking shows every day and themed buffet nights. The desserts were very tasty and mouth-watering. Snacks were served throughout the day from the Tirzik bar and midnight soup and snacks were also available. Ice cream hour was between 3pm and 4pm and was served by the lovely Orhan, who knew everyone's preferred ice creams and amount of scoops LOL. Cakes and biscuits were on offer in the indoor seating area between 5pm and 6pm. Cocktail hour was between 6pm and 7pm every evening, with a different cocktail available every day, which we took full advantage of! The all inclusive drinks included a range of fizzy drinks and the alcoholic drinks included Efes, which is the local beer and local brands of vodka, brandy, whisky and Raki. Overall, the food & drinks were delectable and refreshing.
OUT & ABOUT: Cettia Beach Resort is situated smack bang between Marmaris and Içmeler. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to spend time in. Dolmuses are the cheapest way to travel. Marmaris bazaar is definitely something to visit to get the best deals on ''authentic fakes'' - just make sure you barter with them, if you turn to walk away they will drop the prices! We arranged to go to Cleopatra Island, booked through the Thomas Cook resort rep and had a fab time driving through the mountains in the open top jeeps, then a boat ride to the island and then back again. Our guide, Juju, was extremely amusing.
WEATHER: The weather was absolutely beautiful every single day. It did thunder storm for two consecutive days but it only lasted for about two hours and then the sun was out again! Temperatures reached up to 24°c. PLEASE BE WARNED..!!! It gets REALLY chilly on a night so make sure to pack some long trousers, leggings, tights, jumpers, cardigans etc. There are two heaters on the outdoor patio area but everyone crams around them.
ENTERTAINMENT: I'll start by saying.. Ozzy - You are seriously not normal LOL ! No, he is brilliant and will have you in hysterics. As the manager of the animation team, he tried his best to get everyone involved in the daytime activities, which included beer pong, cub, darts, bowling and table tennis. Every night there was a main event show, from belly dancing, break-dancers, a Michael Jackson impersonator and a Turkish night. These did get a little repetitive but it is the beginning of the season. The main events were often followed by bingo bango and a quiz or a game show involving the guests, which were always highly hilarious! After the evening entertainment, Ozzy arranges a shuttle bus to take guests to Bar Street to enjoy the nightlife. There are different bars offering varied and eclectic music to suit everyone's tastes and I would highly recommend doing this. The shuttle bus then brings everyone back to the hotel at the end of the night. For only 10TL per person, you really can't go wrong!
THE STAFF..!! Saving the best point until last, I cannot speak more highly of the remarkable team of staff present at Cettia Beach Resort. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them and they are always cheerful, enthusiastic, comical and always stopped to chat to guests, despite the LONG hours they work. They really do make this hotel what it is. Orhan, the ice cream man/waiter/bar man is without a doubt the most attentive, charming, warmhearted and well-respected person I have ever met, who is so passionate about what he does. He really is fantastic! He even let me wear his jacket after I was made to jump in the pool fully clothed!! Mehmet, the Tirzik bar barman, is brilliant. He knows your order to a tee and tells his friends (the wasps) not to bother you but doesn't mind being stung himself, leaving him with a black eye LOL. Make sure he goes to bar street with you so he can show off his dance moves - they are awesome! Temelcan (Can for short) the barman is really funny but also shy. He knew our drinks order (a lot of Malibu, a little bit of Sprite) and always poured more Malibu into our glass when I went to the bar. Such a sweetie! Bariş, Orhan's brother is really great! He always makes sure that you are enjoying your meal and always speaks to guests when passing them. Other members of staff worth a mention is Said, Deniz, Gӧkhan, Samet, Melisa, Ozzy, Speedy, and those I can't remember the names of, including the lifeguard, towel boy, the chefs, the bar girl, all the other waiters and cooks and my midnight burger man! I'm really sorry if I've missed anyone out, you all made our holiday the best we've ever had..! I was devastated on our last night before going home and fully broke down in tears when saying goodbye to the staff; I am already missing them loads! Fortunately, we're already looking into booking to go back next April !! Anybody looking for an adults only hotel in a great situation in Marmaris, Cettia Beach Resort is the place to be. Trust me.. You won't regret it !!!
See you next April everyone! Much love, Laura & Steven xx

Difficult to fault anything at this hotel, the only thing I could say is that the food was never hot, the so called hot dishes were at best warm if not cold.
The staff were all very polite and helpful and quick to sort out any problems we may of had.
No under 16's was great

Fantastic holiday in Marmaris Turkey
Stayed at the Cettia Beach Resort in Marmaris. They have an amazing spa, great entertainment and a hairdressers on site. Great craic at the pool bar and grill. Amazing array of food each night in the restaurant, including salads, chicken, turkey and a different show cooking each night. Friendly helpful staff who greet you by name and get your drinks for you. First time in this resort and would definitely go back. Loved the jetty for sun bathing.

wonderfull holiday in Marmaris.
This hotel is one of the best i have stayed in,the staff are very helpull and friendly and the food is acceptable, the only down fall was a lot of wasps were about and that stopped my wife and i from going onto the beach. i would not recommend going to the mud baths & turtle island trip it is a complete rip off and the food they gave us i would not have given to a dog.

Very enjoyable stay in Marmaris
My wife & I had a lovely 7 night stay at the Cettia Beach Resort at the end of October 2012. The hotel is only a couple of years old & is immaculate. The staff were very attentive & friendly.
The proximity of the hotel owned beach & jetty meant there was no problem in getting a sun bed at anytime of the day.
The food was ok but not as good as other all inclusive hotels in the past but there was always plenty to eat & the soups very fabulous!
If we go back to Marmaris we would definately stay there again
