Something of a secret known only to those lucky enough to have discovered its charms, holidays to Icmeler offer glorious, emerald green coves, a smattering of watersports, a clutch of excellent, well-planned accommodation, and those all-important welcoming bars and restaurants. It's a peaceful place compared to its boisterous neighbour Marmaris, but Icmeler's chief attraction is its location - you can still enjoy a silent early morning walk to the old village, or across the headland to Marmaris, through pine-clad hills, jasmine and eucalyptus. This walk is particularly lovely in the
evening, as the sun sets over the water.

Icmeler also has a wonderful beach and, despite its popularity, it's always bright, clean and well maintained. As you head to it, take time to enjoy the colourful flower gardens, tempting arrays of fruit and freshly baked bread in shop windows and colourful boats bobbing in the harbour.
