Love Dalyan and the Keskin hotel
We found Dalyan 3 years ago and booked into the Keskin hotel. This is a lovely hotel, very chilled, not over crowded and the staff are lovely. The Keskin offer a variety of boat trips which are great value for money. I would recommend the beach barbeque and the early morning turtle watching, it was well worth getting up at 6 to travel up the river and watch the sun rising..magical! We only stay as B&B as we like to sample the many restaurants in the town. My only complaint, which is only a minor thing, is that at breakfast, there were no cold drinks included, in previous years their was an orange squash, therefore we had to pay each day for orange juice, which ended up costing us £60. There should be an offer included. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, most of the guests you meet are all returners, this is the best recomendation

Excellent Holiday in Dalyan
All the staff were excellent . What friendly and help people, facilities great..
3 swimming pools.food very good . Location just great. Had very restful holiday
and enjoyable holiday.
The only problem I had was the message on the Mini bar /Fridge. The message requesting guests not to bring and store their own food and drinks in the fridge could have been worded more politely. The wording at the moment is very threatening.

Excellent 'get away from it all' holiday
This was our first time in Turkey, so had no idea what to expect. We had an amazing holiday! The hotel is only 30 mins from the airport, which was great as the temperature was hovering around 50 degrees! From start to finish our holiday went like clockwork. Flights were spot on time, very big aircraft too, loads of legroom. All UK staff were very pleasant and efficient. I have to say the Turkish people are just about the most friendliest we have ever experienced anywhere! They cannot do enough for you, they are very welcoming indeed. The Hotel Keskin is a couple of minutes walk to the river, then a very pleasent walk along the river pathway to the main town of Dalyan. The walk takes approx 15 minutes, at a slow pace. There are numerous places to stop off and have a drink or something to eat along the route, and make sure you stop to watch the turtles being fed! The main town is quite big, with a huge market on Saturdays, offering just about everything. You MUST haggle! The hotel room we stayed in was very clean, and the towels were changed daily. We stayed in the newer part with room numbers starting 400+ We were lucky enough to have a room on the ground floor just a few yards from the beautiful swimming pool. We preferred this pool to the other two, mainly because it was the quiter of the 3, plus our room was right there too. Unfortunately, if you want a sun lounger each day you will have to be up early to put your towels out! The main restaraunt, inside the main building, was absolutely stifling hot! No fans can be seen anywhere, and this was very unpleasant as you had to queue to get your food inside, by the time you came outside you were dripping! We always ate outside along the verander ajoining the main building. Now the food....I believe it recieves poor marks from most reviewers ONLY becuase the choice is limited, not because the food itself is bad. The salads were excellent, with plenty of choice, but the hot food (meat) was very limited choice, that said, it was always hot and tasty and we never once struggled for something to eat. The puddings are also very limited with 2 maybe 3 choices daily if you are lucky, usually sliced Melon and cake. You MUST take a river trip SOMEWHERE, there are literally hundreds to choose from in Dalyan and at stupidly low prices. As it was sooooo hot when we were there we plummped for a 3 our river trip to go feed the turtles and a brief visit to the beach. It was a very relaxing trip and we thouroughly enjoyed the calm waters of the river and a chance to see the sea, and a paddle too. BEWARE, the beach dropped quite deep, quickly, into the sea, so not suitable for small kids. All in all in was a fabulous holiday and we are definately going back to the same place next year, but at an earlier time in the year when it wont be quite so hot!

Another wonderful holiday at the Keskin, Dalyan
My husband and I went to the Keskin for the fifth time in June this year for a week's break and we are going back again for two weeks in September. Its a wonderful place very relaxing, beautiful scenery and the management and staff are really friendly. If you stay half board the food is a little repetitive but its not as bad as some reviews have stated. Can't wait to go back!

Hotel Keskin, Dalyan
Good value for money, clean, quiet hotel, away from it all.

We were a group of 6 adults who had a great holiday in Dalyan and would highly recommend it, the Hotel was very clean with good sized air con rooms woith balconies, there were three pools and the food was plentiful and with lots of salads and reasonable variety. The whole resort is low rise and preety based around the river and you need to enjoy going on boats. There is plenty to do and excellent value for money. With six of us we were able to charter our own boat anbd skipper who cooked barbecues on the boat. We only ate out once and had an excellent meal in the town.
