Why Choose
Make the most of your holiday in Altınkum with a meal out at one of the many great places to eat, such as Pinocchio’s. With a dining terrace on the seafront on First Beach, Pinocchio’s has a great setting. The menu is Turkish/English (including traditional Sunday lunch and freshly baked bread and cakes) with a trained management team and an attention to detail that others do not always have. Live entertainment often includes amusing dancing shows.

Don't be put off by bad reviews, it was an absolutely amazing holiday! Animation team constantly getting people involved, super friendly and people I will miss. Staff were quick and helpful and the rooms were always clean. The food was varied, and if you have fussy children there was always chips and pasta. The resort is stunning, the beach is a short walk away and there is something for everyone!

Lovely holiday enjoyed by all our family. Hotel was situated in lovely location looking over the sea and harbour. Entertainment staff were very friendly and fun, some staff spoke very little english although this made it fun. The locals were always friendly. Family enjoyed the water sports at great prices. Overall at great holiday and would definately go back !!

Just came back from a week at Didim Beach hotel (01.10.12)Wasnt expecting too much from this holiday as we had it at a reasonable price and had read some negative reviews. But wow what a fantastic holiday! the hotel is very opulent and ornate and very elegant looking. It was immaculately clean, there was always someone cleaning and collecting glasses rubbish etc, our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding the maid even made swans and orchids out of our towels which was a really nice touch I thought. The staff were happy and friendly and couldnt do enough for you! The food was lovely, we were all inclusive and there was always food available and most times of the day.They had a wide range of choice which i was surprised at and having a child who is very picky I was a bit worried but they had mash brocoli and peas which are his favorite foods and tasted just like ours... they had chips and chicken nuggets also for him and a huge selection of desserts which he loved! We didnt have tp fight for sunbeds, my mam and dad didnt want to be stuck by the kids pool with us all day so they went to the adults pool which was further away from the hotel and was really peaceful for them.... I cant honestly say this was a fabulous hotel and we had a fantastic holiday I really cannot fault it! It exceeded my expectations and I would definately go back there! Do not listen to any negative reviews - some people just cannot be pleased.

best holiday ever, stayed at didim beach resort altinkum turkey. fantastic holiday, everyone so friendly and helpful! being a single mam with two teenage boys i was worried about going to turkey but all staff where friendly and helpful all the time and really looked out for me and my boys! would love to go back again!

stayed at this hotel from 24 sept to 6 oct 2012 six adults and one two year old for a welcome break in the sunshine. us older grown ups stayed in the Elegance annexe which is absolutely stunning and the younger family stayed in the main hotel. could not fault the hotel staff although the reception staff were a bit stuffy at times. as we had a little one with us we could not go anywhere without someone giving her attention which was lovely. animation team really good trying to organise people to join in. the bar staff at the dolphin pool bar were lovely and once we had got served there a couple of times remembered our order. there are 3 outside pools one at the elegance,one main pool (the dolphin) and one relax pool only for adults there is also a brilliant sandy beach with another couple of bars,water sports and a lovely pier with sunloungers etc for relaxing in the quiet. the food is varied with something for everyone. while we were there had a turkish bath and massage an experience not to be missed you can book through FatBoy or Jimmy they come round the pool and it is done in the actual hotel wonderful!! obviously from reading this you can tell i would definetly recommend this hotel.dont listen to any of those bad reports it truly is really great.

This was a great holiday. The hotel is fab and id totally set out for familys. There was loads of other kids for them all to make friends with and a good selection of pools. Drinks and food are all good and I would reccomend this to any one wanting a good family holiday with kids

just returned (26.09.2012). 1st week was absolutely fantastic food was good,service was good cleanliness was good weather exceptional.22hr bar was great with generous drinks.
2nd week seemed to go down hill a bit with staff attitudes and there didnt seem as many staff as before.food stayed good except snack bar which was constantly empty of food ,told the staff they laugh at you then turn there backs on you and carry on chatting in turkish.
the management need to address there staff issues but would still recomend as it is a beatiful hotel.
our thirteen year old loved it and didnt want to come home spent all day in pools and on slides and made plenty of freinds.
i would rate this as a 4 star because the staff let them down to give 5
weather was perfect for entire holiday with plenty of sunbeds if you got up early enough

After reading the bad reviews before the holiday i started to regret booking, I am happy to say i loved every minute of my 2 week stay.We travelled as a family of 21 YES 21 ranging from 1yr to 70yr .
The Turkish bath is a must great value for money.
The evening entertainment isnt that great but plenty to see and do.
Fat boy is very friendly and welcoming and was amused to be introduced to my husband AKA fatboy.
They food was OK for me but the children did live on chicken nuggets and burgers but they didnt complain.
Big thank you to Dilek for keeping our room nice and clean and for the wonderful artistic towel and bedding arrangements..
