Excellent for families
We are a family of 5 and have just spent 10 fantastic nights at this lovely lovely resort. I cannot fault any aspect of our holiday. The resort grounds and bungalows are extremely well looked after and clean. Buffet food selections change theme daily and good variety of kids meals too. Even had regular shaped fish fingers one night to please the more fussy little ones. So much food and ice cream, easy to please all. There are loads of activities for all ages every day. Kids clubs were fab with really fun leaders that our boys loved, Rifle shooting for the adults went downa storm too and we loved Snowball Bingo round the pool every afternoon with the lovely 'Potato' Mark!!! The evening entertainment shows were excellent. All in all, the entertainment staff were all SO lovely and they work SO hard - we cannot fault them and hope to be back next year!!!!!

Great family hotel
Just come back from here we had a brill 2weeks stay, from the minute we got there the reception staff were so helpfull nothing was a problem. If you enjoy self catering you won't get a better bungalow with everything you want, they were spotless, cleaned every other day and it was the full hit. Again nothing was a problem for the cleaners. We went self catering but eat in the dinning room most afternoons. And went to the Friday BBQ again it was lovely, fresh, good choice and the food was hot!
Thomas Cook entertainers were fab even tho it was there first 2weeks of the season, big thank you to Alice, Mollie and mark. And all the team, they worked there socks off day and night and we're actually enjoying them selves.
We are already looking to book for next year .
You will not be disappointed!! Unless you are expecting 5 star for 3star money.
Had good TV in room and free wi if which worked all the time, it was a peacefully quite resort, no noise at all.
Security patrolled day and night.

Excellent 5* Parque Cristobal, Gran Canaria
We have just come back from 14 days at Parque Cristobal, Gran Canaria with our 3 year old daughter.
I can honestly say out of any holiday I have been on it has been 5*, The Park is amazing, food did not get repetitive and was out this world, it catered for everyone including children. The Thomas Cook entertainment for the children was 5*, kept our little girl entertained the whole time and they were all ways smiling and friendly (and certainly put in long hours). The bungalows and grounds were spotless.
I cannot even think of 1 negative thing, we always go to different places each year but are about to put a deposit down again for next May.
I certainly cannot wait to go back next year and highly recommend this especially if you have children.

Fantastic Bungalows, beautiful grounds and great staff!
Parque Cristobal is a great complex for adults and children alike. We arrived around 3pm and were greeted by two very friendly and efficient reception staff. They immediately asked if we wanted lunch before we booked into our bungalow. We declined and were given our keys straight away.
We had a Premium bungalow, which meant there was air conditioning, a PS3 in one of the bedrooms (but be warned, no games) and complimentary slippers. We were also in a bungalow which was right by the pool and we could see the bar and restaurant from our patio. The whole complex is on the flat, except if you want to go to the “Theatre” where some of the evening entertainment takes place, however, there is a lift for those who cannot do the stairs.
The bungalow had a well equipped kitchen although we were all-inclusive, so didn’t really use this. The lounge area had a sofa that converted into a bed and a table with 4 chairs. Both bedrooms were similar – 2 very comfortable single beds, ceiling fans and a huge wardrobe and units. There is a digital safe one of the rooms and the cost was 18 euro's a week. The bathroom was small but functional. My only complaint was that the design meant the toilet was right behind the door!
Our patio had a roof (very hand on the day it rained!) and had a table and 3 chairs. As there were 4 of us, we requested and extra chair and it was there within the hour. All the bungalows have 2 sun beds on the patio, these are a different colour to those round the pool, and gives you the option of lounging outside your bungalow rather than the pool.
The complex has two pools areas. We only used the one by the main bar/restaurant which had a nice sloping ramp into it, a very shallow kids pool next to it and a bubble pool with “sun loungers under water”! There were a few tiles missing but this did not really affect it. The pool at the other end of the complex also had a bar next to it and a mini-water park with sprays and a slide into the pool.
The bar staff were great – got my hubby’s drink ready when they saw him coming towards them. The soft drinks, beer and hot drinks machines are all self service and there was never more than one of two people in the queue for the alcoholic drinks.
The restaurant had the usual food themes throughout the week, Chinese, Canarian, BBQ etc. You have to join the queue for the meat options but as long as you arrived when the restaurant opened, there was never a long queue. The friendly staff were very efficient in cooking quickly, replenishing the supplies and clearing the plates from the tables. Yes, the food is mass produced but was absolutely fine.
We stayed the first week of the Easter holidays and it was fairly quiet and you could always get a snubbed, even in the early afternoon. However, on the second Saturday of the holidays, there were lots of new arrivals and the towel reservations of sun beds started which was such a shame! The restaurant also became a lot busier too!
The entertainment team work really hard. They provide lots of activities between 10am and 12.30’ish, return between 3pm and 5.30pm and then returned around 8pm for the kids mini-disco and other entertainment. The hotel is very multi-national – Germans, Dutch, French, Scandinavian etc and all the entertainment is described in many languages.
Unlike many places in Playa Del Ingles, there is plenty of free parking right outside the hotel. There are 2 supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk and a very hand alley takes you from Reception directly onto the main road into the town, without going round the block!
We walked to the Beach in Playa Del Ingles in just under 20 minutes and it took slightly longer to walk to the sand dunes in Maspalomas. However, there is a courtesy bus which takes you to the main strip however we didn’t use this.
We had free wifi in our bungalow which was a bonus we didn’t expect. It sometimes ran slow but was fine. If you wanted quicker speeds, you could relax in the reception area on the huge sofas and use the wifi there.
We would happily return to this complex as we had a fantastic time!

Ok holiday but over priced
We have recently come back from the Parque Cristobal. It was a clean hotel and the 2 bed apartment was clean and spacious. We have 2 toddlers and sadly both lunch and dinner were served too late for them. (1pm and 6.30pm) so the all inclusive cost for them was not worth it. The hotel is marketed for Germans. All the entertainment was in German and no English kids club. The splash park and kids pools were safe.

Not recommended for anyone without children.
If you like children or have children then this place would be OK, as a couple it has nothing to recommend it. The site is quite large to be dragging suitcases about and the numbering is hard to follow at first. The hotel is situated as far from the beach as is possible within the over-crowded resort. The beach itself is poor and often has sand blowing over it from the nearby dunes.
The "bungalows" are adequate but you can hear other people's noise. The buffet food was just about OK apart from children touching things and coughing and sneezing over the dishes. There was very little choice for vegetarians and indeed very few vegetables: what there was were tinned.
The reception staff were helpful.
There are local buses but they only go along the coast, if you want to see the interior of the island you need to hire a car. There is a very good bicycle hire place in the resort but you need to bring your own shoes etc.
