This review is of the Sal Rossa apartments in Playa den Bossa but the aprtments were not listed in the drop down boxes. Whilst the apartments themselves were fine, t
he resort was dreadful. This resort is purely a clubbing resort with absolutely nothing for more couples or, particularly, for families. This should be clearly advertised and sold as a clubbing resort. The brochure gives absoluely no indication of such. Luckily, we didn't have kids. Those that did, rarely left the safety of the aprtments. The "clubbers" can only be regarded as pack animals; chanting, fighting, spewing was the order of the day - everyday. Consequently, all of the resort's features are geared towards this clientele. No nice restaurants, no ordinary pubs, no entertainnment. Plenty of KFCs, Pizza Hut and burger joints. Drugs openly on sale at every turn.
If you like the bump, bump, bump of clubs, this resort is for you as that is what you will get all day and all night. Bora Bora beach is only 100m from the apartments, so you will get the noise all day long.
Here is a flavour: gir being sick in the sea at 1000, boy weeing openly in the street at 0730, girl cleaning her teeth by the pool and then spittiing it all into the pool, drunken gangs of boys and girls all day long, sick pools everywhere
.
The TC Rep told us the this resort has taken over from San Antonio as the clubbing capital and that it should be sold clearly as an 18-30 type holiday. It was a disgrace and proved a very expensive mistake. You wait all year anbd then have a disaster. TC should either remove this resort or make it clear what it is like.

We made a late booking as were not sure of how our holidays would pan out, and managed to book online and with suitable flight dates, the main reason for going to ib
iza, our first time. Wanted a quiet resort away from discos and drunks, so San Miguel was ideal, although very limiting in activity. Being late in the season water sports were not operating, the beach was awash with sea weed and gunk, blown in by the prevailing winds, and unless we sat on our balcony there was no respite from the wind which blew in from the sea. Apartment very clean and basic but we had a back room which had a view of the hills and was ideal as we could sunbathe on the balcony rather than at the poolside or beach which was uncomfortable beause of the wind. Beds not great for a married couple, but we managed. Restaurant Balansat was very expensive, we ate there once, and the food did not justify the cost, the prawns were revolting and i couldn't eat them, at 22E for 8 with a bit of salad, so needless to say we ended up at the restaurant across the roundabout and had the most wonderful meals there at a fraction of the cost. The three supermarkets sold basic foodstuffs, very expensive and the usual souvenier tat, but closed for three hours during the afternoon and on one day were closed all afternoon and evening. Buses to ibizatown are great, but queuing early is pointless, could not believe how rude British people are, folk who had been queuing for 30 minutes ended up being shoved to the back of the queue whilst people who had just arrived pushed and shoved their way in front to get on first, too many people for the bus so on the three days we travelled to Ibiza town they had to send another bus to take the rest of the passengers. Was very disappointed in the lack of respect for fellow passengers, they would never dream of doing that in the UK. ibiza Town was stunning, and fairly quiet, so a good month to visit I think, the beaches are lovely, the old town and wall a treat and lots of stalls and high end fashion shops. Very expensive though and we ended up not buying as cheaper in UK, most products made in India or Malaysia, but not worth the 30 or 40 E being charged for a basic blouse or pair of jeans. But lovely restaurants along marina and had delicious steaks at one restaurant for 8E and so good we went back twice. A week was enough, got a bit bored but achieved the peace and quiet and we needed and came home well rested.

Me and my girlfriend went for our first holiday together to beautiful Ibiza.
This is a great place for couples where you can rest on the beach, take a jeep, drive a
round the island, board the ferry from San Antonio Bay to see the beautiful coast, visit Evissa City, see Evissa castle, try variety of restaurants within student budget, see the worlds greates DJs, amazing nite clubs, relax to some nice fresh house music and view the sunset from the Mambo Cafe. One word ...amazing. Thanks Tomas Cook. : )
