This friendly, well-established, international hotel represents a charming mix of the modern and the traditional and is set in a secluded spot off San Antonio Bay's main road. Providing facilities for both entertainment and relaxation, this hotel is ideal for couples and families in the quieter parts of the summer with a fabulous position for the young and lively in the height of the season.
Please note: this hotel will not accept bookings of minors aged 17yrs or younger unless they are travelling with someone 18yrs of age or older. Due to its location in lively San Antonio, the Bergantin is not recommended for families from early June to mid September.

We stayed at the Bergantin at San Antonio Bay beginning of September, can honestly say we had a great holiday, this hotel is not the Ritz but on a value for money basis could not be beaten, the choice of food was good yes repetitive but all AI hotels are if you stay for more than week, food was great quality, hot and plentiful, The hotel was convenient for everything, the staff were friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble, rooms are basic and wall very thin you can hear everything from your neighbours but you do get used to it. We had such a good time we have already booked to return next year. If you are looking for a good quality 3 star hotel that gives value for money then you could not do better than the Bergantin

Mother and 14 year old son, so wasnt sure what to expect and how was going to be. But overall fantastic holiday. Great walk from hotel to San Antonio, but must admit very expensive in Resort and as we were all inclusive we only ever bought drinks out once .
Everyone very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and always lots of choice.
The only downfall was the fact that the rooms and bathroom could do with updating big time. Bathroom nearly flooded everytime we had a shower and also there was a vent in the bathroom which you could sometimes hear your neighbours walking around or talking in their bathrooms.. But hey we didnt go on our hols to sit in the room all day so was good enough.
Room service was good but the day we arrived I noticed what looked like a headache tablet on the floor by the door, I left it and it was only when I moved across the floor did it actually get swept away ... so that was a couple of days.
Our Thomas Cook rep was fantastic and very helpful as were all the reps we met whilst on hols.
Pool and pool area always clean and tidy. Entertainment team worked hard but I feel there could have been more on in the evenings or different things. One thing to warn is when they have a show with the Owls dont get caught into having your picture taken with the BEFORE they tell you they want 20 Euros for the pic. The guy collecting money kept coming back to me until I told him I had not intention of going back to my room to get the money! I thought that was bang out of order !
The gym needed a lot to be desired. Too many kids had obviously been going in and most of the machines did not work properly. Should have someone in charge in there.
We both had a great holiday and would definately go back again :-)

My boyfriend and i took our 18moth old son for an all inclusive family get away with my friends family with children aged 3 and 6. It was great value for.money and weve all reafy booked our 2013 get away with thomas cook

Great hotel in a quiet spot. we used the smaller pool ever day. our only complaint about it was a horrible man (foreign) who told my son off for playing with a ball!!!! It was the kids pool after all!!! Food was lovely and staff great. The ice-cream included ones like cornettos and lollies (not the usual wee tub!!) thought hotel would be noisy as its near San Antonio and there where young ones staying here but honestly had no problems. Entertainment could of been better my son said it was "rub" lol but we all agreed Vinnie was fantastic!!! would definately go back again. The mini golf across the road kept us entertained too!! The hotel was the Bergantin in San Antonio Bay.

Rated 5 out of 5 Amazing holiday to San Antonio Bay
Have been to San Antonio Bay twice and stayed in the same hotel The Bergantin both times and will be going there every year from now on and will be taking our baby boy with us for our first family holiday. The hotel is always kept lovely and clean, the food is always amazing. And the staff are jus soo friendly and always keen to help you, with a choice of 3 swimming pools and to top it off an amazing beach!! Would recommend this place to families or young couples(how we first started going).

would not recommend this holiday to couples and families it was overall an 18-30 age group and only catered for the young, pool games etc. this holiday should be advertised as an 18-30 only, not suitable for families with young children or couples wanting a relaxing holiday. The main pool area had regular games and repetitive music every hour which was very irritating. The food in the restaurant was awful ,cold every day which meant we had to eat out quite a lot and ended up paying much more for this holiday. No ambience or holiday feel at all, it felt like being back at school in the dinner hall, very loud and unpleasant. Rooms were average, and lots of noise going on around you. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone over 30.
