Het appartementencomplex ligt direct aan het strand van Calas Picas (ca. 300 meter van het hotel vandaan). Een halte van het openbaar vervoer kunt u gemakkelijk te voet bereiken.De appartementen beschikken over een slaapkamer, een woonkamer met slaapbank, telefoon, een kluisje, een eigen badkamer en een compleet uitgeruste kitchenette.De gasten hebben de beschikking over een zwembad met afzonderlijk kinderbad, snackbar, ligstoelen en parasols. Voor sportliefhebbers is er tennis, tafeltennis en biljart. Bovendien zorgt het seizoensgebonden animatieprogramma voor afwisseling. Op ca. 35 km afstand bevindt zich een golfbaan.

Very good first family holiday

We've just returned from a great week's all inclusive holiday at Globales Binimar and would certainly recommend it to others. The good: Food was a pretty good standard, I found myself missing it as soon as I got home. Kids pool was great and everyone seemed to love it. All the pools were lovely and had loads of beds around them All incl. drinks selection was good - San Miguel on tap, few nice cocktails, nice coffee etc. Rooms were very big and the balconies were spacious. We had a view of the kids pool which was lively all day, really nice. Whole resort was spotless. Close to some good bars and restaurants, pharmacy a 5 minute walk away Entertainment was great for our 4 year old The resort is pretty enclosed so you didn't get the full effect of the cool winds most of the time All the staff were very good and seemed friendly enough to me The not so good: The pools were a bit on the cold side (it was 20 degrees while we were there but very windy, would have been much better if it was warmer). Food, even though nice, did get a bit samey towards the end (understandable, though). Very loud in the evening until about 11.30 because of our location The kids entertainment (8pm), and dinner/breakfast, times were all a bit late. Overall, the three of us loved it.

Not what we expected from the brochure and other reviews...... this will be long but its totally honest.... Firstly I will start on the positive as only short list..... The kids splash area is excellent and can't be faulted. The gardens were well kept. The style of the building is nice. Jesus on reception was pleasant to us. The bad...... The rooms are only cleaned once or twice during a week stay and when I say cleaned I mean they empty the bins, straighten the bed and wipe sink in bathroom only, the floors are not swept, towels not changed, toilet roll not supplied, stack of plastic drink cups left there for whole week. (Have to ask at reception for towels and toilet roll). Tried to explain nicely to reception that as we had paid for an all inclusive hotel room and not a self catering apartment I would have expected the rooms cleaned most days in line with other hotels, she looked at me like I have asked for her first born child. There were also 2 dead bird chicks which had fallen from their nest above our balcony left on balcony floor despite cleaners supposedly cleaning and we had to ask for them to be removed. The bathroom is dangerous, there is a very small space to get into the bath/shower. We were OK but for anyone less mobile this would definitely be an issue. The floor was also extremely slippy and dangerous after a shower from the steam and like a skating rink. We had an issue with the shower going to boiling hot then freezing cold then back to boiling again. Had to report this twice before it was sorted despite telling them we had a 2 Yr old child with us who could of got seriously burned if it happened when showering her. Reception staff were miserable and grumpy (with the exception of Jesus as mentioned above) in fact most staff were miserable, at the bar sometimes I felt like an inconvenience. My friend asked for a straw and it was thrown at her along with a dirty look. They put us on the top floor although booking showed 2 Yr old with us so had to carry a Pram with a baby up the stairs when she fell asleep in the evening. The area for evening entertainment was rubbish, we never stayed, not that we could get a table anyway. Only a small amount of tables for a complex of many apartments. The chairs were also cheap white plastic and not what you would expect. (Maybe this is just me) The drinks 'appear' to be watered down, you could drink all afternoon and evening and still feel like you only had soft drinks (we are not big drinkers so should have felt something at least with what we drank, in fact went into ciutadella one day and had 1 1/2 pints of same larger as hotel and felt tipsy, same with larger at Jimmy Hills, definitely stronger than same at hotel). There is a limited amount of cocktails on all inclusive, (about 4 and only 2 of them drinkable). The sofa bed in lounge although comfy could be dangerous for younger children, it's not the upholstered ones shown on jet 2 or tui, they are a pine frame and you take the cushions off the back leaving wooden struts which are wide enough for a child's leg to get stuck in. The snack bar had hardly anything in it and you wouldn't want to eat it anyway. Buffet not too bad but repetitive and most food luke warm rather than hot. (Good selection of pastries at breakfast which was good) There were not enough sun beds around splash Park and it was only may so god knows what it would be like in August (can't comment on other pools as we didn't use them). They are chained up till 8.30 in the morning so you need to be there quickly to get them, gone in about 20 mins. There is also no music around the pool to give it a bit of atmosphere. Someone asked them and they put it on for about 10 mins so it would be possible. No one from entertainment team spoke to us the whole time we were there even though had child with us. Walked passed us many times, spoke to others and acted like we were invisible and I'm the sort who is always smiling so it's not that we didn't look approachable. I would imagine the whole complex couldn't cope with capacity in August. Other points to mention..... The area is only small with not much shops but was nice enough. The India restaurant at the dolphin round about was excellent. We found a beautiful cove by the Globales Hotel on the other side and was told about another cove near to aqua park but did not get chance to go. Few bars nearby which were nice and a change from hotel and not too expensive on drinks (2 pints 7€, 2 cocktails 16€) I would not go back to this hotel. Needs a complete refit of the bathrooms and a good think about how to run a hotel. Seems like were meant for self catering and then tried to do the hotel thing and don't know how to do it, most staff need training on customer service. Perhaps gone down hill from previous good reviews. I was not the only one thinking these things while there, a lot of people said the exact same.

What a fantastic hotel last minute booking and really was lucky the whole complex was kept clean and tidy as were the apartments the food was great and all the staff were brilliant hard working and friendly nothing was a problem. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you all for a great holiday
