Lovely beach side resort but bad spa attitude

Our 2 days stay was great with half board package which had breakfast and dinner included. Ours was junior suite with beautiful Sun deck sit out. Bathroom was clean with all required toiletries. The view from was excellent with mountain on side and sea on the other side. Dinner and breakfast buffet was well spread out with lots of meats, salads,breads,eggs and desserts.Chef Momogua served us nicely cooked turkey, beef,chicken and pasta at the live counter. Sauna and steam experience was good. Overall it was good experience. There was one big disappointment which was spa. The day we checked to next day, we wanted to book for body massage but the spa person was never available and neither bothered to call when requested at the reception. When I finally met her at spa counter,she told that she is busy that day and next day as well although she was simply sitting at the counter. This attitude is totally unprofessional which resort should take note.

Outstanding service for every single request! There was a change in our planning, and we needed a second room in Portinatx. (The resort that we were at could not accommodate us.) My first impression was excellent. I dropped by in person and had an welcoming greeting from Patrisia. Reservations had to made online and I had not access to data. Although she was busy she made time to reserve us a room, asking if we could drop by later to check in. She then made her colleague aware of our request so that all went smoothly when we arrived to stay later in the day. The three men at the snack bar were conscientious about the peanut allergy that one of us had, bringing the severity of the allergy to the attention of the kitchen and emphasizing how severe it is. At breakfast, the cook took time to show the food that was safe from cross contamination. They allowed us to stay on resort for a few extra hours, storing our luggage for us. They were friendly every time we passed by. Our waitress in the dining room (wire glasses, big smile) was friendly and helpful. Papis seemed to be almost everywhere all at once, available to answer questions, making sure that guests were happy. Special thanks to Patricia, Michelle, Belen, Vanessa and Cristina for being so helpful and cheerful. The beds are really comfortable. Wifi is reliable for everyday work/socials and easy to access. Pools have lifeguards who watch water (not their phones). You can pay cash or sign to your room at the snack bar. The dining room has an indoor and outdoor area, for your preference. The bathroom is well supplied with towels and toiletries. Also, there are kettle, coffee, fridge. Modest gym. Real yoga most mornings and night. Easy walk to their own beach, and less than 10 minutes along wood/rock pathway to centre of Portinatx. This seems like resort to relax and take in the scenery, close to hikes and beaches, and formal expeditions out of the town of Portinatx - not a party vibe. Perfect for us. (I will note that this review is based on our experience here at Grupotel Ibiza Beach Resort and is influenced by the direct comparison to the other resort where some of us stayed that same week at Portinatx that had poor service.)

Great for a relaxing few days away with no children

Lovely clean comfortable hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Local area really nice with a beautiful beach only a few steps away. Only negative thing was our room had a balcony on the ground floor so was completely in the shade and no view. Would definitely stay here again
