great family holiday in turkey
We stayed at the hotel Baia Lara in April 2012 for the Easter holidays.
The hotel is one of the best hotels i have stayed at.
the hotel looks very nice, and is on a very long sandy beach.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and help full, nothing is a problem , you just ask and its done.
The rooms are very modern and cleaned every day.
My little girl left some flowers on the end of her bed one day , the cleaner didn't throw the flowers away she took all the petals off and made the most amazing picture on the end of the bed, that was so nice.
The beach is at the end of the hotel , and even if we went down to the beach late we had no problems finding a place to sit, the views from the beach are amazing with the blue sky and the mountain range in the back ground.
The food at the hotel was of the best grade . every night was a theme night, so lots off different foods to try, or you could just ask one of the chefs to cook you something. out and about. the people are very friendly, but do be prepared to haggle the price of every thing you buy. We as a family have been all over the world from Barbados to France and camping in England, but the only place the wife and kids would like to go back to is Turkey Baia Lara. One amazing holiday cant wait to go back

Another wonderful holiday in Lara Beach
Spent 10 days in Baia Lara Hotel in Lara Beach enjoying every minute of it. The hotel is clean and comfortable, food varied and delicious without lunch time outside venues creating additional choice. All members of staff are friendly and helpful treating everyone with the highest respect. Entertainment good with something different every evening. Daytime activities also good fun. Looking forward to our next holiday May 2013

Kos at Pasalidi
It was an excellent holiday except my husband fell ill on the first day. It took him five days to recover. The gardener decided to mow the lawn by the pool at approx 10 am one morning and picked up a large stone within the blades and it flew by my face at about 3 inches away and plopped in to the pool. The stone was about 2/1/2 inches in diameter so it wasn,t a small one. The other staff were very good and told him to stop which did. It could have been serious but wasn,t.
Weather was perfect.

Booked full holiday as package deal from Thomas Cook. From the minute we arrived the service was fab, could write on and on! Everything about Baia Lara was amazing, a true 5*. This was our first visit to Turkey and we would definately return. Food in main restaurant is great, themed differently every night and there is always plenty of choice. A la Carte restaurants were the best, beautiful food and great service, for only 10 euro per person extra it was a real treat. Would recommend the Mexican and Far Eastern. Bedroom was huge with large balcony, modern bathroom, flat screen tv and safe. Maid did a great job and the mini-bar service was a nice touch as it was restocked daily. Used the laundry services once after a red wine accident and it was returned that day for only 6 euros. Entertainment at night was always good, and you had the choice of two different activities to go to. Entertainment team were a great laugh and they made the daily activities fun. We joined in on the darts, football and air gun. All the waiting and bar staff were great and really tried to speak English where possible, and there was always plenty of staff around! All food outlets were lovely and we couldn't fault them at all. As we went on 21st September the hotel was mostly catering for older people or young families with under 5's but this meant there was a good mix of people around. 2 weeks was just enough time to fit everything in, but I would have loved to stay longer it was that great!! Used the spa for the Turkish Bath, massage and facial, was well worth the money and so relaxing. The bowling alley, air hockey and pool tables were good for a day that it rained or to come in out of the 33 degree heat to cool down for an hour. Guest realtions team were very helpful and did all the booking for A la carte's and for the beach lodges. Would recommend going to these as a treat, waiter service at the beach lodge was brill and for only 25 euro a day felt like true luxury. Would recommend this hotel for a total chill out holiday :)
Spent 4 days outwith the hotel, two in Antalya and two on excursions, this broke up the sunbathing for us and let us see more of Turkey. Bus to Antalya takes approx 1hr and costs around 50p each way, it's the LC38 route and you can get it from just across the road from the hotel. There is a market in Lara on a Saturday which is worth a visit if you want souvenirs, food, fakes, towels, and various other items. Was good just to experience it for an hour or so. Did excursions through the rep, would recommend the Med cruise from Kemer, and the trip to Perge, Kursunlu and Aspendos, very interesting. Loved Turkey overall, the people were very nice and we can't wait to return :D

This hotel was clean, tidy and above all everybody was very polite and helpful. The accomodation was good they have some british tv channels on the rooms TV, so if you have children take some Dvd's. The food was excellant throughout the day with drinks and ice creams coming round the pool through the day. Daily activities for the adults were good fun, and if you have small children they have a lovely enclosed garden, and pool so they cannot wander off.
Our Rep. Danielle was excellant in explaining all that could be seen and done and how to get to all the places if you wanted to go out on your own.
We would go back to this hotel in a heart beat.

Fab family holiday
We have two young boys who absolutely loved this place. Lots to do, lots of nice food and very helpful staff. This place is spotless. The only down side was the flights, Peas in a pod is an understatement, my 8 year old son complained about the leg room !!!!!!

Top Class Resort
This was our first holiday in Turkey so we were not sure what to expect other than it would be very hot in August. Upon arriving at Antalya Airport, the coach transfer was organised efficiently and we arrived at the hotel with minimum fuss. The reception staff were very friendly and the room was sorted in minutes. The room was very spacious, comfortable and spotless, The hotel has a large pool area with plenty of sunbeds and parasols and the staff work constantly to keep it clean and tidy, the sun beds are well spaced out so it doesn't feel at all cramped and despite what I had read in some reviews, we never struggled to find sunbeds around the main pools. The food in the buffet restaurant was well presented and of a very good standard, some all inclusive buffets style restaurants can be quite repetative but there was always a good choice with a different theme for each evening. We tried two of the a la carte restaurants which had a 10 euro cover charge, we were not disappointed, the food and service were as good as any restaurant I had ever been to. For lunch there is a choice of a self service area, having a large selection to include chicken, pasta, salads, kebabs and pizza, or a restaurant serving a good selection of meals or light bites. Daytime entertainment was great fun, and the music played by the pool was well thought out and not too in your face. Evening entertainment was varied, a choice of bars all equally as good. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.
