Mums & Daughters break away fantastic
Brilliant chill out girls holiday, everything you could wish for, fabulous food selections, alcoholic drinks were plenty. Animanions team Rayco's aquarobics got me of the sunbed and kept us dancing till the late in the evening, Ewan was also friendly and enthusiatic about the entertment around the pool and cabaret in the evening. All round lovely staff, from bar staff who remembered all our orders, the restaurant staff who produced some mouthwatering dishes, and the cleaning staff who kept everywhere spotless, I'm fussy about my toilets and never once was there anything offending ....
Would definitely return again and again. There were a couple who have returned more than 43 times since 2009 for short or long breaks so it must be good. Enjoy.

Great family holiday in fantastic hotel
Our family consisted of 2 adults and 3 children aged 10,15 and 17. When we arrived at the hotel we were blown away by it's appearance it was just beautiful. The whole hotel is keep immaculately clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful with views over to La Gomera . We liked the location and it was easy to travel by taxi or bus to other places on the island.. The pool area was great and my boys practically lived in it. Food was very good with plenty to choose from , something for everybody. The entertainment team were great and tried really hard, most are French but do speak English too. The holiday rep Matt for thomas cook was fab with lots of info and advice and always happy to help and have a chat! The beach is just over the road and is lovely however be warned if it's a hot day the sand is unbearable to stand on as it gets so hot what with being black sand. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Great 4* star Hotel great location
Hotel is a very Good 4*star food good rooms lovely we had a great sea and pool view. The only downside is that the entertainment is targeted at the French and the French had different wrist bands so the entertainment team can see that they are French and went all out to keep them happy and ignored everyone else so for this I would not return to this hotel. Which is a shame as the location was great and kids club excellent but why return when you do not feel welcome.

ideal for all ages
just returned from 10 nights at the Be Live Playa La Arena , travelling as a family of 10 adults and 6 children aged 4-10 years. Would recommend this hotel complex for families . Food of good quality and variety . Staff always friendly and efficient. Evening entertainment excellent, professional acts such as magician, Michael Jackson Show and Abba Tribute
My only gripes would be that the Kids Club is aimed very much at the French holidaymakers and therefore our grandchildren did not go and also the rooms could do with updating, other than that no complaints. There were shops and bars nearby if you had enough of the all inclusive and we did go out a couple of evenings and had very reasonably priced meals , one at the Sports Bar and the other at Neptunes.

good holiday but
had a good holiday in be live playa la arena BUT the entertainment was poor
so there was only the tv to watch & only three english channels very poor
thought the food was edible but very bland & poor variety
and as there wasnt much to do outside of the hotel it made for a boring holiday
we have been to tenerife for the laast three years but will not use this hotel again

El Arena Hotel
The hotel was very dissapointing. Meant to be a 4 star but in need of a bit TLC and upgrading. The food was terrible - plenty of choice but no quality at all. They would be better reducing the choice and producing a better quality of meat dishes. The fruit and cheese section and bread choice was really good but overall very dissapointing. The Hotel was spotless. Not a bit of dust or cobweb anywhere and the pool area was very clean as well. AI drinks were not good all wine came from pumps even at dinner the waiters went to get unlabeled bottles of wine and just filled up the glass if you wanted it but they were so busy we had to wait for ages to get another glas of wine

Everything on a beautiful site in Tenerife near beach and local amenities to ensure a pleasurable stay
We had a lovely holiday at the beautiful Be Live Hotel Playa Arena in Tenerife. The reception area was particularly striking. The site was maintained to a high degree of cleaniness and the service from the staff was first class across the board.
We went all-inclusive and found it very good value for money. The meal times ensured that you were not rushed (eg the evening meal was served from 7.30 pm to 10pm ) We had read some of the reviews that complained about the food, but, whilst it was not cordon bleu standard, we enjoyed it, particularly the constant variety, both hot and cold at every meal. There were always delicious salads, desserts, fresh fruit and drinks available and there were other places on the site where drinks and snacks could be had outside of meal times
The hotel was very handy for the beach, local shops and bars and only half an hour's walk away from the lovely little town of Los Giganes. We also used the local bus service that ran from the road in front of the site to travel to other places on the island.
We would definitely go there again and have already recommended it to others
