Lovely hotel with excellent service Just returned from Isabel Family. Hotel is ideally suited for families with young children where they can be safe and free. We travelled as a couple so didn't use many facilities but would gladly return with grandghildren. March 16, 2014
Good location for self catering Decor is tired but style of hotel makes up for it. Great location. Would return January 27, 2014
holiday with granddaughter in Hotel Isabel, Costa Adeje, Tenerife Nice apartment overlooking chldrens pool, which was a quiet part of the complex.Very noisy near the main hotel, and pool. Stayed in August and nowhere near enough umbrellas or loungers by childrens pool. 12 umbrellas for 30 loungers, unfortunately had to resort to putting towels on the loungers early in the morning and claiming an umbrella as we saw other guests taking umbrellas to the main pool area. Granddaughter had a fantastic time. October 11, 2012
Wonderful week in tenerife We recently spent a week in tenerife at The Isabel Family Hotel. It was really good, clean, friendly staff & excellent facilities. It is in a great location as it's near the shops, restaurants & only a 10 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next year November 8, 2011
sunshine break hotel was very good, clean, helpful staff October 16, 2011
Isabel is swell Booked this deal at llast minute all inclusive and have been to Adeje before but never at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival, nice welcome for 1.30am and cold meal waiting for us if we wanted it.However we were given a map and told how to get to our room not realising how vast this complex is and due to the fact we were shattered it took us about half an hour to find our room.Having said this ,this was the only blip to our holiday.Staff were nice and friendly (apart from bar staff who really need re training)Cocktails were ready made up in a jug and all tasted the same .I realise this is needed during busy summer months but hotel was not that busy and never once saw a barman shake a shaker or smile. At times I did not think there was any alcohol in them Food was lovely and plentiful, dining room staff on the ball and very friendly. Pool area was lovely and lots of beds available .Accomodation was nice and cleaned every day.We wanted a relaxing chill out holiday and thats what we got. October 16, 2011
Lovely pre winter break My husband and I went to tenerife on holiday, this was our first holiday abroad without our son. We went for the self catering for a change so didn't eat much in the hotel. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location and is only a short walk away from the beaches and bars. We got the Thomas cook bus up to Loro Parque, it was quite a long day, and as nice as it was, we wouldn't bother going back next time, purely because it was such a long day. We spent a day at Siam Park, had fun but it wasn't as good as Caribe and Portaventura in Salou. Hotel was very clean and tidy, rooms were cleaned daily if you wanted and towels changed daily. The staff were very helpful and polite. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anybody that doesn't have problems with mobility because of the steep brae up to the hotel, wouldn't be much fun having to push a buggy up from the beach either. columbus hotel tenerife Nice hotel clean with friendly, helpful staff.Downside rooms are not sound proof. There is a busy road next to the hotel if you get a room at the front lots of noise. The sunbeds are locked up at night and you have to queue every morning if you want one.Meals can become a bit repetative although they are well cooked and tasty.Entertainment on a night is poor, but there are some decent pubs nearby.
