Overall a first class holiday
Excellent hotel, good location close to beach- good for snorkelling. Food was excellent - good variety of choices. Weather ideal - hot but tempered by pleasant winds. All inclusive very good - no queues at bars and wide choice of drinks available.
Thomas Cood rep was extremely helpful. Volcano trip was memorable.
Hired a car and found the island surpisingly interesting considering the lack of greenery. Different rock colours, attractive villages and volcanic landscapes

Not suitable if you want some quiet in the evening!
From the outside the hotel looks like it is still being built, the design looks like scaffolding. The open space in the reception goes down to the floor below and up to the second floor, this means that in the evening there is no quiet any where. Due to the design the sound from the bar and the kids evening entertainment all amplifies from the lower ground floor to the roof as it is like a sound tunnel. Our room was in a good position and a good size. The food on the whole was good but we feel that there should have been hand sanitiser on entrance to the buffet restaurant. The drinks from the bar were not of good quality the cocktails were dispensed from a machine.

If you have children it is very good
As two mature adults we cannot recommend this hotel, it is a little too far away from main resort of Costa Teguise but the walk there is very pleasant. Unfortunately we had poor weather for half the holiday with wind and rain. We were All/inclusive the hotel is clean food is good, there option to have one meal at the V.I.P. restaurant per stay. A little mean really as we were there for two weeks, and would have had this option for a one week stay. Still we went and enjoyed so much that we went again and paid on the second visit. the food was superb and unfortunately the free bottle of wine on the first visit, "we paid 12 euro's the second time" really showed up the awful fluid that was available on the inclusive menu. We really felt that this option should be once per week not stay. had this been the case we would probably taken up the option each week plus an extra visit each week. The other observation was that families with children who were very well catered for had their entertainment in the main area rather than the area where the shows were put on. This area was set out for the shows and was not friendly to sit and enjoy a drink. The hotel was also very cold sweaters and cardigans were essential in the bar areas. In short if it's warm and you have children fine if you are a mature couple avoid.

A Return Visit
Our second time back proved just as rewarding as the first. This time the weather wasn't so good, nevertheless the entertainment staff pulled out all the stops so lots of activities were available. The rooms were spotless, and there was an excellent choice of food and drinks. The nightly shows were of a high standard and for those who had children they vanished all day with activities of their own.
A fitness suite was available for those who wanted it and because we had already been last year we were presented with a bottle of bubbly and a basket of fruit, plus a second free meal at the VIP restaurant. Now looking forward to next year!

Great week away in a warmer climate!
Room was lovely and spacious, restaurant was very brightly lit and felt almost like a cafeteria - however the VIP restaurant was nice.

Hotel let down by the food.
The food was at best only average and boring. Most evening meals consisted veal or pork and was fairly bland. On one night there was a curry which lacked any real bite you woul expect from a curry. Very rarely was there any food you would expect with certain dishes ie no rice with the curry, roast pork (very nice) with very little in the way of veg to go with it. Some lunch times and evening dinner ther were no wine/beer glasses and some times the beer/wine ran out and finding a member of staff to rectify this was not an easy task, we stopped a member of the kitchen staff to put this right as there was nobody looking after the food service area. An other wise good hotel spoilt by a very poor dining experience.

Nice Hotel Spotlessly clean . Friendly staff
My wife and I stayed at the Be Live Hotel in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote on an all inclusive basis from 25/4/13 to 2/05/13. As it was the last week in April we managed to find an excellent value deal for an all inclusive at this beautiful hotel. The hotel is positioned a couple of kilometres fro the Costa Teguise Resort, but you can walk there in about 30 - 40 mins at a leisurely pace or use the excellent 24 hour bus service which travels both to here and to the capital Areciffe and also the popular resort of Puerto Del Carmen every 20 to 30 mins. Excellent value and service. The hotel is spotlessly clean , has a fantastic open foyer that takes in both the reception and the florr below to the bar and stage level. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and the bedrooms are spacious with a very high standard bathroom / shower area. There are however one or two areas that could be improved. 1) The beds are too hard! 2) The buffet style restaurant provides well cooked food but ther is not enough variation. There can't be many pigs left alive in Lanzarote as pork seems to be served nearly all the time. Also why can there never be a decent English Type sausage in thes places(. A weekness throughout the continent not just here) 3) The live entertainment although of a decent standard for a hotel frequently takes place in a room downstairs instead of on the main stage in the bar/reception area so in order to see it you have to get up from comfortable chairs with your drinks and trapse downstairs to an area with no bar and uncomfortable chairs. Makes no sense. Apparently they have had complaints about the noise from some acts, but as the cabaret is always over by about 10.30 so what. What do people expect in a hotel!
All the above are obvious areas for improvement which could make a good hotel with excellent views and pool facilities into an even better one, and are the kind of easy to put right faults that would make a real difference to what was still a very enjoyable stay.
