Great food, facilities and location but hotel was noisy and lively at times!
On the one hand this is a modern, clean, well equipped hotel with excellent catering and great food. However, due to hard surfaces everywhere, the hotel can be noisy at times, even when half empty and on the rare occassions people were trying to be quiet!
The catering was excellent and varied, with good service from multi-lingual staff but could be chaotic at peak times as everyone hunted for free tables. The "no shorts" rule for dinner did not seem to be enforced during our stay.
Please note that if staying on a half-board basis that cash is not accepted at any of the hotel bars/resteraunt so items must be charged to the room via credit card or by pre-paying at the desk in cash in advance of ordering; the hotel appeared to be more geared to the "all-inclusive" customer.
On our stay, the hotel was directly under the approach to the airport, so there was some significant noise from aircraft (07:30 to 22:00) but this wasn't really a problem, especially if you are a plane spotter!
Overall enjoyed our stay but would not want to go in high season, as it was fairly lively for a 4-star hotel even off-peak!

Not a 4 star hotel
The room was never made up before 3 pm in the week we were there . The staff were excellent unfortunately the staffing levels were insufficient for the amount of guests . Food was not the quality you would expect for a 4 star rated hotel . Food was never warm . I would not return to this hotel .

Lovely Chilled Week Finding Winter Sunshine
This is a lovely friendly, spotlessly clean hotel. The staff work very hard to make your holiday a success. The food, for all inclusive, was very good, a huge choice and plenty of it. The local town is about a 15 minute walk along the seafront and once there you have plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from if you fancy a break from the hotel. The weather was mixed but we managed to have a few hours each day on the sunbed and many used the pools and jacuzzi. The Casino (the only one on the Canary Islands) offers a little light entertainment for those who fancy little flutter. The animation team work very hard to entertain those who would like a little light entertainment offering many sports thoughout the day and a show in the evening. Thank you Elba Carlota we enjoyed a well deserved break and your staff certainly made that happen.

Spacious hotel, with interesting architectural sculptures throughout. Immaculately clean throughout. Comfortable room with good wardrobe space and storage. We were lucky with our room location - south facing with sun all day (room 237). An awful lot of rooms receive no sun whatsoever. Food and beverage. Cheap local spirits and barely drinkable wine. As for food? I cannot believe a "professional kitchen" can produce and serve such horrific fayre. I honestly felt nutritionally malnourished by day three. Dingy grey fish, shoe-leather bits of meat, "chicken" nuggets, day-glo deserts sprinkled with silver sugar balls and even tinned fruit and veg. If that kind of thing floats your boat - then that's great, but I don't eat like that at home and I certainly don't expect it from a four star hotel. To end on a plus note, there was an in-room fridge and a reasonably efficient hair dryer in the bathroom. The hotel also has free wi-fi, which we were able to access in our room.

Needs massive update in all departments. The cockroaches tell the story.
I have a full report going to your office. So disappointed and sorry that we had to complain.

Fantastic family hloiday
I have just returned from this hotel with my extended family, ages ranging from 8yrs to 75yrs .A FANTASTIC hotel, we have stayed at many all inclusives, from long to short haul and i would defiantly rate this higher then broucher suggests. We are vegies and my Father is very much a meat eater, we where all spoilt for choice, they also had themed evenings, with the staff wearing the traditional costume for that country, a lovely touch. The pool was cold though and you did have to be up at 7.45 to reserve your loungers, or there were none left. There were several lovely walks from the hotel and it felt very safe to do so, by myself with my children. The weather was fab, we only had two cold days. It is close to the airport but we didnt find the noise too intrusive.
