Would not stay again
Absolutely disgusting, bathroom was filthy blankets had hair. On so had to sleep in towels, got fined for something we never done, staff are no help whatsoever there just worried about partying and getting drunk, bar toilets vile urine everywhere in the floor, staff are rude sometimes they just ignore what you say, the maids come in your room early morning start cleaning although it's absolutely filthy so no idea what they clean, overall would not recommend to stay in this was not happy one bit.

Disgusting behaviour from Thomas Cook
Our holiday was made up of false promises from Thomas cook, examples of these include the promise made by the travel agent that if we weren't satisfied with the hotel then we could transfer to any other resort in zante free of charge. However when we requested this after finding our rooms with broken balcony doors, broken fridges and a shower head that sprayed towards the toilet rather than the shower basin, we were told that we could actually only transfer to an 18-30 hotel which were all fully booked up, none of which were the hotel's our travel agent showed us in the brochure.
Last of all the 18-30 Reps we encountered in Zante, were a disgrace all they were interested in was money, on our first day, we were sold 3 days of events by a rep called Amy and when we arrived for one of them she said that we said we wanted it for the first tuesday of our holiday even though we said the second tuesday, once again, more lies and complete robbery

Went on 18-30 Holiday with friends at the beging on the club season, It was fantastic friendly people, fantastic bars and clubs (music was banging) all within short range of each other. Only thing is to take plenty of spending money as it is expensive. Perfect club holiday for groups of young singles.

Basic but fun - LOVED Zante!
Zante was our first holiday away, and we were really looking forward to it! Altough after reading some of the reviews, that was not the case!
But when we arrived, the friendly staff greeted us in the hotel lobby with shots, shots and more shots, before our reps showed us to our rooms. Yeah, they were basic, but they had a bed, a shower, a toilet and a kitchen, which is all you needed!
The pool was clean and large, with plenty of sunbeds on offer. The bar staff often came around pouring drinks into your mouths while you sunbathed, which was cheeky ;) The appartments itself were located at the top of the strip, which was excellent as you could work your down, without missing any bars or clubs. The beach was about twenty minutes away, but passing the shops and stalls, it's not a long walk. The drinks were cheap, and it's definately best to haggle with the annoying PR guys! Meals out were nice too, and there were plenty of places to choose from.
Zante was brilliant. We did the waterpark, pedalo's, a boat cruise, VIP party with PartyO - definately a good option for our first time away.

Great resort/Terrible Accomodation
Laganas as a resort is really good. There is plenty of nightlife plus other activities to do during the day etc. (if you are not too hungover). The beach at Laganas is pretty average and not well maintained (cigarette buts all over) and you are bothered by people selling things every 5 minutes. The best day we had was at St.Nikolas beach which you can get the bus to for 5 euros. This beach is magnificent, clean, and not to many sellers. You can also do loads of watersports some are pricey so choose wisely. You can also do many boat trips to see the turtles and visit shipwrecked beach etc. On this occassion we chose wrong and went on the "cruise around the island" and we had very little time off of the boat. In refernece to Savvas accomodation its hard to say 'you get what you pay for' as the standards are terrible. To claim it is self catering is somewhat of a joke. We had 1 fork, 2 spoons and one tea plate. Which is not nearly sufficient to cook a meal. The room itself was not cleaned or the sheets changed once. On one occassion we recieved clean towels and I would use the word clean loosely. Upon our departure we required to pay for one extra evening as the flight times were early the following morning. We requested this on our first day and it was not confirmed til the night before we were due to vacate the room. We had to pay another 25 euros and move room. It was a this point we realised we were fortunate to have a room in block a as we had been moved to the rooms behind the main bar. These rooms were far worse. To make matters worse the manager would not give us our 10 euro deposit for the safe key and after talking to other guests we realised we had been over charged for our extra night. My advice would be to know what your getting when you book here and don't expect anything. Take your own towels and don't expect to be catering for yourselves at any point.

When i got to Zante i felt as if I was in a 3rd world Country. got to the hotel (Saavas) Accomodation was basic. Everything was easily breakable like it was set up. There was a charge sheet on the door which had crazy prices if you accidently broke something. Rooms were constantly like saunas. Some of the staff were of others looked in a bad mood all the time. Not very good when you want a drink with grumpy people serving. Nothing cheap about the watered down alcohol on Zante either. I was getting charged 2 Euro for can of Tango from the Hotel aswell which you can get for 30p Anywhere in the UK.
