Everything was great, the location, the room the quietnesses of the room and the breakfast was awesome! The rooftop bar, wonderful. The pool area was nice but it was a little chilly but we did just sit out and read one afternoon. There was just little thing, one night my husband got up to go to the bathroom and there’s a light sensor so the light goes on. Not a big deal if there hadn’t been a glass panel in the shower to the room. So suddenly the room was lit up and I was awake. It would have nice if there was a blind that could be pulled down at night. Other than that is was wonderful.

Our 3 night stay started badly, when arriving at 10 pm to be told our prom was not available. This, we believe, was due to Real Madrid playing Manchester City. However the hotel arranged a taxi to take us to another hotel nearby, which was fine. The following morning we checked back in to complete the final two nights. Thereafter everything was excellent. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine in the room and also a voucher for two drinks in the sky bar. The room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable and the location perfect, especially the view over the Plaza opposite.

Fabulous hotel & location

Although huge this hotel it is excellent & we didn’t feel like we were in a large hotel. All the staff without exception were pleasant, helpful & smiley. Our room was on the 21st floor & very comfortable bed & great shower. Given the sheer size we expected breakfast to be manic but the dining room was spacious & calm….couldn’t fault the food on offer something for everyone with hot & cold dishes. The location was perfect with a metro station 50 yards away which we used to get to Bernabeu stadium….other than that everything was in walking distance. The 360 rooftop terrace has the most amazing views of the city & worth a visit & is free if you are a guest…..all in all we’ve had a fabulous 6 nights & would highly recommend!
