Het hotel ligt in Rincon de Loix, in een tuin van 9,500 m² en op slechts 500 meter van het strand Levante. Het centrum van Benidorm ligt op slechts 5 minuten afstand en 3 kilometer verder ligt het beroemde amusementspark Terra Mitica. De dichtstbijzijnde golfbaan ligt in Altea op 10 kilometer afstand. De luchthaven van Alicante ligt slechts 40 minuten van het hotel.Dit indrukwekkende hotel heeft 2 gebouwen met beide 23 verdiepingen en in totaal meer dan 526 kamers, waarvan 520 op het zuiden gelegen tweepersoonskamers met een balkon of een terras, 4 juniorsuites en 2 suites met een rond bad en massagedouche op de bovenste verdiepingen van het hotel met panoramische uitzichten. Gasten kunnen genieten van een ruim aanbod aan voorzieningen, een ruime lobby met liften, een receptie die 24 uur per dag geopend is met wisselkantoor, een hotelkluis en 2500 m² vergaderzalen met natuurlijk licht en een capaciteit van 20 tot 1000 personen. The Standard rooms are quite snug, two single beds pushed together but with separate bedding, however, if one person moves about, the other one knows it!. Bathroom was roomy, very good shower which is over bath, plenty of towels, plentiful supply of shower, shampoo gels. Balcony overlooking the pool was a good size with two chairs & a table. A small fridge and coffee making facilities are a very welcome addition. But.... the mirrors are useless for putting on makeup, too far away to see properly what one is doing, the mirrors on the wardrobes are so heavily tinted as to be virtually useless. The wardrobes are roomy but very short so that the bottom part of dresses become quite creased. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly, so were the restaurant staff. The food was fine, good selection of salads, cold drinks, cheeses and fruit, the fish dishes were great, a super selection. Perhaps the meat dishes could have been more frequent but this is a small niggle. I have an intolerance with rice but no problem with the paella which was delicious. The Hotel features as a 4 star but think that per UK standards its more a 3 star, possible 3plus* which I will give for their staff. Its only about 10-15 minute walk down towards the beach, the bus stop is right outside the hotel which cost 1.60 euro for a journey right to the centre of the Old Town. The Sunday Market is not far from the hotel either.

This hotel is fantastic. It's beautiful and the staff are soooo friendly and helpful. It is in a perfect location. There's bars, shops and restaurants across the road. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and to the strip. We used the VIP area called The Level which is amazing, it was such a nice place for me to work on my laptop during the day and chill out in the evening. I highly recommend this hotel for a work or leisure trip

Disappointing 2nd visit

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days from 8th May. We had a disability room on floor 1 and on arrival the room was rather dirty in places so straight away we had to ring down to report this and shortly afterwards the cleaner did clean the room. The next day we used the shower and the flooring in the shower was so slippery it was dangerous. I went to reception and put our concerns to the receptionist, and asked if we could have some slip mats her reply was they have none but we could go and buy one and use it if we wanted to! Not the reply we expected! Then the front fell off the drawers and the maintenance man was called to repair it. In general the room and shower area is getting tired. We spoke to our jet2 rep who spoke to the receptionist on our behalf and then the cleaner arrived with a slip mat! Why was one not there to start with!! The shower room needs money spent on it to bring it up to a clean and safe standard for a disability person to stay safely in the room. Overall the best part of the hotel is the pool area which we could not fault. We were half board and although there is a variety of food on offer most of it was only Luke warm which sometimes made it inedible! This is the second time we have visited this hotel but we would not go back. There are so many hotels in the area I’m sure we could find better. This is not a 4 star hotel rating probably a 3 star.
