Arrived and we were checked in quickly and staff were very courteous. Rooms were nice but need some attention, one room had a nice terrace and the other had a small balcony you could not swing a cat on but it did have a view as requested. The housekeeping staff should be congratulated on their outstanding work that they do and the reception staff could learn something from their friendliness. Nothing was a problem if you asked them anything. The hotel itself is in a fabulous central spot in Madrid would definitely go back. Fabulous city.

Room without a view over the city.

My wife and myself had booked a room with view to the city. When we arrived in the room we saw that the window were heavily damaged. You could not see thru and instead of a view over the city we have had a view to a heavily damaged window. you could not see thru!.I asked for an other room, but we received a big smile and the message that the hotel was fully booked. I strongly recommend not to book a room in this hotel. The rest of the room also need urgently to be renovated. The Breakfast was simply, to simply for a 4 start hotel, but the chairs in the breakfast room were very dirty and also need to be replaced.

A Four-Star Hotel Nightmare - Beware!

I'm no stranger to hotel stays, but this experience has truly hit rock bottom. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an overwhelmingly foul stench that permeated the entire building. The lobby, which should have set the tone for a 4-star experience, was anything but inviting. Its only amenity was a coffee machine that demanded credit card payment, leaving me baffled at their inability to provide complimentary refreshments. My room was a depressing relic of days long gone. The filthy carpet was peppered with cigarette burns, and the dilapidated walls seemed to have never seen a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom was even worse; its repugnant odor reminiscent of a sewer, making it nearly impossible to use without gagging. Seeking assistance from the staff, I was met with apathy and indifference. It became evident that they had no interest in addressing any of my concerns or making my stay even remotely comfortable. The most outrageous part was their audacity to charge extra for cutlery - a service that should be included at any respectable 4-star establishment. When I attempted to voice my dissatisfaction to the manager, I was met with a smug, sardonic grin. It was painfully clear that they were aware of these issues, yet chose to prey on unsuspecting tourists who were unlikely to return. This hotel's modus operandi is to exploit their customers for a quick buck, with no regard for their well-being or satisfaction. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you wish to spare yourself the immense disappointment that I had to endure. There is nothing remotely redeeming about this establishment, and it should be stripped of its 4-star status immediately.
