Great stay at Meliá Sitges

I visit the hotel a couple of times a year and it never fails to impress. It’s in an amazing location close to the centre and within walking distance of great restaurants and the sights of sitges. The staff are amazing generally but on this occasion I would particularly like to thank Paul from the reception team who worked really hard to sort additional accommodation we needed. He really made our stay special.

Exceptional hotel in great location. Amazingly room. Delicious breakfast.

Excellent location at one end of the beach a lovely 10mins walk to the centre. It’s away from the noisy crowds which is nice. Our sea view room was exceptional- modern, clean, light, airy and spacious. Bed was so large and extremely comfortable. Good selection of pillow types too. Breakfast was super amazing- huge choice and great quality ingredients. Friendly professional staff. I very much look forward to a return visit.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Booking reference number SM2301035761 I made several reservations for my family and friends as our son will be getting married next week. Also encouraged guest from the wedding to stay here. I truly regretted the decision to spend my hard earn money in this hotel. Called to cancel a booking for 26 - 27th April as the guest cannot attend. Been told only on this booking that the cancellation policy is different. For all the many other bookings both myself and my other guest made, they are all cancellation one day prior to arrival, however, on this booking I was told it was 2 weeks therefore I need to pay the full price on my credit card. Asked for a date change so someone else can use the room, which I felt was a fair compromise however they refused to answer my email. Tried calling them, someone starts talking to you, then transfers you to someone else without explaining why I am calling. Very disappointed as the hotel looks great and was expecting a nice week there. Wish I could sort something else to stay somewhere else but most guest has already paid. Communication is very poor, empathy and understanding is terrible. Would NEVER RECOMMEND.
