Dit hotel ligt aan zee. Het ligt in de Comarruga woonwijk, op een mooi zandstrand. Vanuit het hotel is het ongeveer 5 minuten naar het centrum en 15 minuten naar de stad Vendrell. Een halte voor het openbaar vervoer vlakbij het hotel te vinden. Het treinstation Comarruga ligt op ongeveer 2 km, en het busstation van Vendrell is ongeveer 3 kilometer. De luchthaven van Barcelona ligt op 70 km en de luchthaven Reus ligt op ongeveer 65 km van het hotel. Dit 75 kamers tellende hotel is zeer goed gelegen en biedt een uitgebreid scala aan diensten om ervoor te zorgen dat het verblijf voor iedere gast een heerlijke ervaring is. De gasten worden verwelkomd in de ontvangsthal met 24 uur per dag geopende in- en uitcheckservice. Het hotel heeft airconditioning en de faciliteiten omvatten onder meer een hotelkluis, een wisselkantoor en een lift, evenals een speelkamer, een televisiekamer, internettoegang en een parkeerterrein en een parkeergarage. I stayed in Hotel Comarruga Platja for 5 days with my sister. We booked all-inclusive and couldn't be happier. The staff were excellent, from the reception to the bar to the kitchen. They went out of their way to look after us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The common areas are spotless, rooms cleaned daily to a high standard and cleanliness and hygiene seemed to be a high priority throughout the hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always varied and delicious. I was chatting to one of the chefs, Augustine, and he seemed very passionate about providing great food to the guests, as did the restaurant manager. Overall this is a great place to stay, close to the beach, great food, friendly and helpful staff .

Hello, Coma-Ruga!

It is budget-friendly hotel. All was reasonably for this price. But...It's a pity that there is not fridge in the room. Location is optimal - near bus-station and not far from the rail-station ("renfa" is ~15-20 minutes to walk). Note that the railway station called "Sant vicenç de calders", not "Сomarruga"! Reception was helpfull. Greeting to Dasha, Julia and Denis P.S. Attention! The holiday time in Coma-Ruga finished in late September, so water in the shower (douche) on the beach is turned off. For example, since 25-26 September.

Very Friendly, very Spanish, very clean

I stayed at the Hotel Coma Ruga Platja for a week from the 25th July with my wife & 2 children ( 8 & 5 ). Firstly if you like bingo, Betty's Hot Pot, a nice cup of tea and meeting like minded Brits to meet up with when you get back home then this is not the hotel for you. It is essentially a hotel that caters for Spanish people. There were some Polish, French & Swiss people there but no other British. We loved it! My kids played in the pool ( Small & Square ) with kids from other families and, despite the language barrier, had a great time. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and it does get a bit busy on the weekend but we always found space. The sea is very shallow & great for kids although the tide can be a bit strong at times. There's an inflatable assault course moored a few hundred yards out that is great fun. The hotel bar is well stocked and very reasonable ( 1.9 euro for a glass of cava, 2 euro for a large beer ). The food is basic but tasty. Always plenty of choice with stews, fried meat, pasta dishes, salad, fish dishes featuring every meal. We paid the extra to upgrade from B&B to half board and were told we could take our meal as an evening, or lunchtime sitting and change it each day if we wished. The staff were all very friendly. My Spanish is very limited but I tried to order food & drink and had great fun being corrected and instructed by the patient staff. The surrounding area has plenty of bars and restaurants and we had fun using Google translate to discover the items on the menu as many didn’t have an English version. It’s a short walk ( 30 mins ) to the main town and that had banks, restaurants, bars & shops. Across from the hotel is a small fair with bouncy castles & small rides that my kids loved. While we were there they had a Pirate Festival in a small square around the corner from the hotel which was a famers’ market with entertainment & some rides.
