Het attractieve strandhotel ligt direct in het gebied van Mojacar en is ca. 200m van het zandstrand vandaan. Op ca. 1,5 km afstand ligt het dorp Garrucha, met talrijke winkels, restaurants (2 km, 15 minuten lopen), bars (300 meter, 3 minuten lopen) en discotheken (500 m, 5 minuten lopen). Het dorp is met een lijnbus te bereiken.Het in 2002 gebouwde hotel heeft 4 verdiepingen met in totaal 334 tweepersoonskamers. Het hotel heeft een ontvangsthal met 24uurs-receptie, een kluis, wisselkantoor, garderobe, lift, parkeerplaats en een parkeergarage. In het hotel is er bovendien een café, kiosk, een winkel, een kapsalon, een bar, een discotheek, een speelkamer, een conferentieruimte en een van airconditioning voorzien à la carte restaurant met een niet-rokergedeelte en kinderstoeltjes. Tevens kunnen de gasten gebruik maken van de openbare internetterminal, de medische dienst en de room- en wasservice van het hotel. Tevens is er een fietsenkelder en voor de kinderen een miniclub. Tot het hotel behoort eveneens een 900 vierkante meter grote tuin.De comfortabel ingerichte kamers beschikken over een badkamer met wc en haardroger, telefoon, satelliet-/kabeltelevisie, radio en internettoegang. Bovendien zijn de kamers voorzien van minibar, airconditioning, centrale verwarming, kluisje en een balkon of terras.Voor de gasten van het hotel zijn er twee swimming pools (een met zoet- en een met zoutwater) met 2 kinderbaden, een poolbar en ligstoelen met parasols, aqua aerobic, een bubbelbad, sauna (tegen betaling), solarium, stoombad (tegen betaling) en massages (tegen betaling). Don’t normally write reviews but, the staff are excellent. Great Place, can’t do enough to help you. Very Clean, fresh food and plenty variety. Credit to the management’s with such a big hotel. Good location. Definitely will recommend and will come again.

Nothing to do but chill & relax

If you want peace and quiet then you will not be disappointed with this hotel. Although I was personally expecting to play Padel? There were no players so, bring your own partner with you. We were there for 1 week 17th Sept until 22nd 2022 and you could see that the hotel was winding down. (It must be mayhem in the Summer here). Nice to walk out of the hotel and cross the road onto the beach. If you do not have transport, don't worry there is a bus stop outside the hotel that can take you up to the Mojacar Pueblo or down the road to Garrucha. If you are seeking different bars to frequent then you need to go down to the town. Entertainment? well, it definitely was different. This is mainly a Spanish hotel from what we heard and they do like to play the music LOUD. We were disappointed dancing, to a Queen tribute songs and then a Michael Jackson tribute songs? What was that about we don't know. with the cabaret staff If you have kids then the hotel has staff that will entertain them and there are play areas. The swimming pools are very clean and spacious. Meals are taken in the hotel restaurant which was hot and had a nice Buffett-style selection to choose from. My wife is very fussy but did eat every day. On the hotel website, it says that there is an Irish Bar. No, it has not been open for a while but they were working inside doing a refurb. The hotel kindly laid on a birthday bottle of Cava with balloons and a nice message. Thank you. Would we stay here again? Yes.

First trip abroad since 2019.

My friend has recently moved to the Mojacar area in Spain, so I booked a package with Loveholidays and chose Servigroup Marina Playa to stay in because it was at the right side of Mojacar to where he lives. My daughter, best friend and I opted for half board because it was a very reasonable add on to our stay and gave us the flexibility to return after a day out to dinner. The hotel is situated between Mojacar and Garrucha, so not in the busier strip further down the coast, but this suited us fine for our short break. The staff in the hotel are polite and efficient and the rooms are clean and spacious, with balconies you can sit out on. We opted for a sea view, since we'd come all the way to see the sea, but the pool and mountain view rooms would be equally acceptable I think, The room has a mini fridge, but nowhere to make tea or coffee. We travelled during May half term, expecting the hotel to be busy , but it was very quiet, which meant that we often had a pool to ourselves. There are three pools outdoors (one covered and heated) and the hotel is just across the road from a sandy beach and bar. The grounds of the hotel are pretty and well kept, with plenty of loungers to rest on! It very much felt like the season hadn't quite started as some of the bars and restaurants in the hotel were not open, but that didn't bother us at all. Food was plentiful and varied, to cater for European tastes and we enjoyed trying different combinations. Some of the food was luke-warm, but it's a small gripe, considering the huge choice. Rooms are serviced daily, unless you specify not to and the hotel feels clean and spacious. When we visited, most of the guests were Spanish, which was refreshing to see, given that we'd booked a UK package. My daughter's basic Spanish came in handy and was appreciated by the staff. If you want to party, then this probably isn't the hotel for you unless it's different during high season. However, we were really happy with our stay, and I'll definitely return if we come back to visit our friend.
