Fantastic hotel with exceptional staff

Just had a fantastic 10 day stay at Park Regency. The pools and beach were superb but the main big plus point for this hotel are the staff. They couldn’t do enough for you and we’re always on hand to help if needed. Despite initially being given a garden room when we had booked a sea front room, this was all resolved on our first day and were soon moved to a much nicer room looking out over the gorgeous Red Sea. The food was excellent and despite being given a voucher to enable us to eat one night at one of the more chic restaurants on site we never felt we had to bother doing this as the main hotel restaurant was sufficient. The lovely fresh pasta meals made in front of me by the talented Mohammed were fantastic, and always felt like he enjoyed just making you something special. A lovely guy too, as were the waiting staff such as Karim, Kareem, Yousef, and Mohammed. Another staff member I must mention is Krolos who looked after our room, another lovely guy who always took the time to make sure my partner and I were happy with our room. My partner and I both suffered badly from mosquito bites on our legs and we were regularly being advised by staff the best way to deal with them, we truly felt they actually cared. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A great, welcoming, comfortable five star that is great value

This is a truly lovely hotel. I visited many times 2002-2010 and was concerned it might not still be any good now. I should not have worried. The hotel is beautiful and the location amazing. But the best thing is the staff Mohammed at Cascades poolside bar could not have been more hospitable. His staff made me great coffees in the morning and great cocktails in the afternoon. He made the Mai tais just so! And he created a friendly atmosphere that meant you wanted to drop by. As to the main restaurant, I have allergies and Ayman and his team were so careful and so accommodating. They treated us so well and with such warmth. Every meal was great and the view from the terrace is to die for. Everyone cared so much and they had the feel of a five star hotel whilst being friendly and welcoming enough to make one feel at home. As to the hotel itself, marble and palms all down the gentle slope to the sea. Don’t worry if your legs creek. Mine do and they just brought a buggy to ferry me anywhere I asked. The reef is one of the best in Sharm. I have dived 150 times but still loved paddling around seeing puffers, rays, lion fish, butterfly fish, parrot fish and even roaming sea cucumbers. Every morning it was a joy to look out of our spacious room and see the sun rise over the sea, hoopoe birds among the date palms. So relaxing and I am already planning my return.

Best hotel ever!

I stayed at the Park Regency hotel with my boyfriend for 1 week in May. It was by far the best holiday I have ever had. To begin with the hotel itself, as soon as we arrived from the airport we were greeted at the front entrance, our bags scanned (the hotel is extremely secure) and after checking in were driven via buggy with our luggage straight to our hotel room. As we had quite a late flight the hotel brought some room service (completely free!) to our room - including bread, cheese, olives, salad, and bottles of water. The front desk was very efficient and the hotel is beautiful and very clean. Our hotel room (one of the budget ones!) was very clean and had everything you could want, fresh towels, a separate bath and shower, a comfy bed, a balcony, and even toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. These toiletries were in fact the best I've ever used at a hotel - the dead sea moisturizer even helped my sunburn and I preferred to use them over the things I brought with me from the UK. Krollos (apologies if I have got his name wrong!) was an impeccable housekeeper. Everyday we left our room in a disheveled mess, eager to go snorkeling in the morning, and everyday we returned to find it sparkling clean and well organsied, with handpicked flower arrangements and fresh towels and bedding. He was also very polite and friendly. Our room had a gorgeous east-facing sea view from the balcony. The many pools at the hotel were all kept clean and were pretty quiet despite the time of year. The towel service was very efficient, I'm not sure why people are complaining about it in their reviews. Ibrahim at the pool was especially helpful and friendly, and made sure my partner and I were comfortable and had towels, etc. The staff wouldn't even let me move the parasols myself they were that eager to help. The water slide is very fun even for grown-ups, as is the lazy river! At the Cascades pool mar the manager Mohamed Mohsen and his team were absolutely perfect. He provides a very quick and efficient service - again I have to disagree with some of the complaints from other reviewers calling the all inclusive drinks selection basic. Many cocktails are on offer as well as a mocktail selection, wine, beer, spirits and fizzy drinks. Mohamed was even offering custom-made cocktails for us. He made the effort to remember our names and preferences at the bar, offering a 5-star service every day. On our last day he shook our hands and kept his bar open late just for my partner and I so we could eat dinner by the poolside and watch the sunset over the sea. I'd also like to mention Ahmed at the bar, who never scrimped on the spirits in our cocktails! Onto the most important part of the holiday: the food. I don't understand why some other reviewers are calling the all-inclusive buffet options basic. My partner and I like to eat so we budgeted some money to try out the restaurants at the hotel, but were so impressed by the buffet we decided not to! There was a huge variety of tasty options on offer every single day - from freshly grilled chicken, handmade sushi, curries, about 20 different bread options, a similar number of dessert options, juices, 8 different salads, pizza, duck, turkey .etc. etc. The star of the show for my holiday was Chef Muhammed at the pasta station. I wasn't expecting to eat pasta everyday (given the huge variety of food on offer) but his pasta was unbeatable, and his service to match. He made every visit to the restaurant incredible, spotting my partner and I and making us some incredible pasta dishes every day. We couldn't turn it down - if you look at the photos attached I'm sure you'll see why. He made the pasta with so much flair, he is clearly an excellent chef and the food tasted as good as it looks. He even made us sit down a few times so he could bring it to us personally, and offered us cold compresses on particularly hot days. I'd also like to mention Chef Hamdy at the hot food station, who brought us some of the best cuts of turkey to our table without us even asking, and Amira who cut fresh fruits (the melon was especially great!). The hotel's beach is one of its best features (alongside Chef Muhammed's pasta), and was one of the reasons my partner and I booked the Park Regency. There is a very long stretchy of sandy beach which is private for the hotel with lots and lots of sunbeds and a beach bar offering the all-inclusive cocktails. There is also a diving centre and toilets. The sea leads directly to a private coral reef - the Garden Reef, apparently one of the best in all of Sharm el Sheikh, and I would agree with this assertion. The coral is beautiful and the reef is filled with hundreds of colourful fish, my partner and I even saw a stingray and a lionfish! If you are coming with children/aren't a confident swimmer there is also a small sandy section of shallow water that fish swim up to for paddling. I'd recommend bringing a snorkeling mask with you as they can be a little pricey, but for the snorkeling experience it is well worth the money. There is a little bit of peddling on the beach from the hotel spa and excursions team, but there is some flexibility in price and the staff do leave you alone if you say you aren't interested. We ended up going to the spa and a speedboat trip and they were both great and worth the price we paid. The hotel felt like paradise and I am very sad to be back in the UK now! It was the best holiday and hotel I have ever been on, and I couldn't recommend it more. Thank you to the hotel and especially the staff mentioned above for such a special time!
